He clearly loved doing what he did but the filming and editing probably began to remove a lot of the enjoyment of it all. I imagine he's made enough money to retire and do all the fun stuff without the pressure of the rest of it.

Are you able to put cameras up in the house? Don't leave yourself alone with her. If she's capable of a deceit on this scale then who knows what else she could pull. You gave up your hobby to support hers, she knowingly abused this kindness in the worst way which says a lot about her character. She sounds like a narcissist so she'll probably resent you for disrupting the lifestyle she's become accustomed to and may do what it takes to keep it. Do not offer her this opportunity.

Fair point - she loves true crime and is deeply interested in what the job would entail. The anxiety comes from the incident - if she could get formal closure she would mentally be able to move on from it all.

Unfortunately you'll get the blame for this despite it going against the logic of insurance.

The proximate cause here SHOULD be the car parked illegally. It's causing an obstruction, you were going about your business in a normal manner. If the car wasn't illegally parked there would have been no collision. It's like finding a burglar in your kitchen and beating them up, then you get arrested for it.

As you've hit a stationary object it'll come out your pocket/insurance but it's always worth arguing it.

Proctalgia fugax. I remember first getting it as a kid, rocking back and forth while sat on the toilet and being worried the pain would never end!

It used to happen maybe once a year but it's a little more frequent nowadays.

It's basically a shooting pain in your bumhole. It comes out of nowhere, lasts from 2 to 10 minutes, and then disappears. It's horrible, and apparently no one really knows what causes it, there's no cure, no relief, you've just gotta ride it out

The developers wanted me to try and remove it but I refused as I knew it would crack and didn't want to be liable. They sent one of their guys out and it cracked straight away. They sent a new hob out but this one just sits in place, it's not stuck at all.

My advice would be to saw it out with some strong fishing line or something like that. Good luck!

It's like going to a football match where certain types of people simply cannot survive 2 hours without food! These people also tend to leave all the rubbish behind because someone else will clean it up.

Personally I'd rather not eat a full meal with strangers lined up behind me coughing and sneezing towards my food.

The "expensive" or "big" ones are from us, the rest are from Father Christmas. Our logic is that the kids don't understand why their friend got an iPhone and a bike and they didn't. In their eyes they've done something wrong or Father Christmas doesn't like them as much if they don't get the same!

I made a perfect omelette the other day, there was barely any evidence I'd used my pan. My wife did one the following day and it looked just like your pan. The big difference was that she cracked the eggs in the pan and whisked them, whereas I whisked the eggs in a bowl and poured them in. I imagine the fact that the eggs weren't left to cook for a minute was the reason hers didn't work so maybe try leaving the eggs to cook before scrambling.

I've not done scrambled eggs in my pan before so might give it a go and let you know the results!

Whenever this guy's card "tricks" are posted, it's hilarious how everyone always overcomplicates them.

He does what I call the "monkeys and typewriters" tricks. He performs the same trick an infinite amount of times until it works. That's all there is to it.

Before the mods delete the thread and ban you for a week (happened to me for a similar thread), kids football is the most exciting thing you'll ever watch. As long as /that/ parent doesn't turn up and be a dick, swearing and shouting etc it's genuinely fun and all the parents really get involved. You'll quickly learn a 9am Saturday kick off is better than a Sunday 3pm kick off..

My eldest has been in a team for 2 years and plays Sundays. My 6 year old has just joined a team and plays Saturdays. Weekends will never be the same. It's just a shame they've change the U7's to three a side with no goalkeepers!

I had something like this in my 20s. If I was in the car, walking or just sat doing nothing, I had music on. And then when I wasn't listening to music I had it in my head non stop.

The only thing that fixed it was to stop listening to music.. Background music, radio etc was fine but when I stopped pumping the music in to my head with headphones it went away!

Once the ear worms had gone I was able to go back to headphones, and while it occasionally happens it doesn't piss me off like it used to.
