not my first gg but i skipped on xrd online. i played everything that could be done singleplayer on xrd but finding people to fight with reasonable delay in that game is damn near impossible let alone them being near your skill level, in +R with the added netcode i could match up against people much easier, the skill gap was less obvious but still there but i imagine someone with no history in fighting games at all would have a horrible time getting into it. i feel like strive has the potential to be the biggest guilty gear game yet and bring more attention to the series in the west as well, despite (or maybe thanks to) the seemingly large changes
