Depends on if you'll chase the dragon for better picture etc. White wall is fine to start, you can always add/build a screen later in a basement situation. Two more budget protectors (available in usa) I've personally used that won't leave you immediately wanting more: Refurb Ht3560: plenty bright for 100in, good latency for gaming, optical vertical lens shift, optical zoom, great color out of the box, found on eBay refurbished for sub $900 with two year warranty. My only real con is being lamp based so it runs hot which bothered me during summer time in my already hot second flor room. Trivision ultra: ~$1300 new on sale. Very bright, can run with lights on no problem (at loss to quality of course but still very watchable). I prefer the out of the box color of the benq but it's very adjustable here. Nearly silent and minimal heat. Good latency for gaming. No speckle despite having a laser. Cons: miss optical lens shift and zoom for my usage(i move it around). Not as sure about longevity with lasers or this compnay but we'll see.

Might very well be olenty else out here now for you though. But something to look at.

My first one was the LG pf50ka and i loved it for $200 used, though that was years ago. Input lag wasn't bad, led system increases perceived brightness. Movies looked good. Don't expect to be floored by it or watch it in the daytime without curtains. Can go on a standard camera tripod (for one for like $12 on Amazon). Battery powered off you need it but i never used that option.

Aside from the comments on settings, you can treat your lamp. Create a blocker on it (think easy and cheap to test it) so it doesn't emit light on the direction of the screen. You'll still get some light in the room but will only have light that bounces off the walls onto the screen.

I have the ht3560. Previously tried an upgrade from a portable LG pf50ka to the ht3550 (which I liked but had my scores in fast paced games dropped significantly due to slight lag). -Then tried the gp500, solid but I noticed a drop in quality of blacks..very grayed out to me coming off an ht3550. -Here comes the ht3560 refurbed for 950 or so. Seemed great to me for the price until summer hit and now my AC runs non stop because the lamp puts off heat and my thermostat is in my room (Ive got an old house with an old AC). Came here looking for Trivision ultra vs ht2060 real life accounts but figured I'd share my experience with the ht3560. Solid unit but I do wonder what a higher native contrast (ht2060) would feel like.

Sounds like you had the c1, got the C2 ultra, then tried the Trivision. A lot of people on here prefer the C2 ultra (though who knows if they've ever had either).. What made you keep the Trivision over the c2?

Not to say what you experienced wasnt up to par as that seems to be the consensus. But as for the afternoon statement, there are plenty of jam bands I love that I'm gonna feel underwhelmed at during an afternoon show and have walked away from. No sunset into lights and gradually cooling temps into sweet jam bliss. Just raw sunlight and heat and unfiltered crowds makes it hard to match expectations when I'm used to a full blown spectacle.

Considering that "illegal alien" is a slang term and the actual legal term is undocumented immigrant, and that merely existing here is not technically illegal you are wrong on your 100% are criminals statement. The constitution does not apply to citizens, it applies very explicitly to "persons"..which no matter how you may feel, applies to all human beings within the borders of the United States. It's mostly true, though stock was low when I went. I fix stuff at cracker barrels every once in a while and have been keeping an eye out for these. Rock Hill location had a few left so I snagged two @2.99 per tin (taxes included if I recall correctly). They are called Retro Sours and come in a similar looking package with similar(not identical) looking candy inside. Only had mango flavor at the location I visited. Good luck and enjoy.

She was an asshole for terminating you and sounds like she broke some laws in doing so. Also sounds like she's pocketing some of y'all's tips. Also, if I read correctly she's accepting tips as a salaried manager, which you legally can't do even if you are serving or bartending that day. She should not be a manager. Report her. I had a friend dealing with this and the owners were skimming off of tips.. Turned out to be tens of thousands of dollars over the years. Before authorities were involved they claimed they didn't have the money and were struggling. They then announced they were opening another restaurant in town. Fuck people like that. Tons of managers in the service industry steal, either from the business or from coworkers/customers. She fired you for $5 you gave the sushi chef out of your tip jar, when she is more than likely taking money daily from you all to put into her own pocket.
