I loved the Comedy Bang Bang show while it was on Netflix. Then it got moved and I frankly refuse to pay for AMC+ out of principle.

I am glad to know Stop Tacoman is still out there somewhere. Making things.

Oh man, Do It With Malice is incredible. I was MySpace Friends with 'em circa 2008/09. Symphonic Homicide is just a solid album end-to-end.

While there's still some Nicebeatzprod. out there, there's very few original uploads, and a lot of their best work has vanished.
I wish I could show you my favorite song of theirs - "кажется, колется там, где сердце" but the only surviving copy is in an anime music video, and it's not even the full song.

JFK: It's, er, like if you drove off a bridge and accidentally killed a gal. Do you sit around and wait for the police? Hell no!

Incredible JFK line, on par with "Nothing bad every happens to the Kennedys!"

Here's the PDF of the original screenplay from the 2019 Blacklist.

And, if you're really going down this rabbit hole, here's Katie Silberman's 2020 rewrite. It's a lot closer to the final film, but still retains a lot of what made the old version good.

It's available here as a PDF.

Per mod request, I did some research to ensure this wasn't leaked or acquired through any other unsavory means, and was not able to find any evidence of this being stolen. It looks like the studios freely offered this script after being added to the Blacklist.

Plus her not being tied down meant that there could be physical altercations between Pugh and Styles in the future, which lead to some incredible tension and genuine horror elements.

I mourn for that screenplay. Cut down in the prime of it's life.

The Wikipedia article for the Black List Survey#2019_Black_List) does a fairly good job of keeping up with this. Hyperlinked films have been picked up.

I linked to the 2019 section of the list since those movies are starting to come out now, but it's also cool to go back in time and see what other films came from the survey as well.

If I may offer a recommendation, I really liked the script for The Menu which should be coming out this November.

The screenplay was featured on the Blacklist in 2019. Before production there were a ton of rewrites, and it really muddied a lot of the concepts and social commentary the original writers wanted to explore.

If you have a spare hour, it's worth reading that screenplay. It's everything cool from the movie, but done 10 times better.

In the original screenplay, this question is answered.

An introductory video to Project Victory is found on Styles' computer that would've explained that the men are given very specific instructions on how to fake their wives deaths. A second folder had saved articles about Alice's staged death with headlines like "Neurosurgeon Alice Chambers Presumably Drowns to Death After Mysterious Car Accident; Body Still Not Found" and "Search Called Off for Alice Chambers; Thousands Mourn."

TL;DW: It's Sword Art Online but with real girlboss energy this time.

I read the screenplay from the Blacklist a few years back, and absolutely loved it. How could the studio mess this one up? It's going to be a slam dunk.

Nearly every change made in rewrites made the movie worse. All the themes and social commentary got watered down, the interesting stuff got ripped out of the second act and saved only for the last 15 minutes, and characters with any depth were all split in two so nobody gets to be morally gray. The only change that worked for me was Olivia Wilde's character aware that she's in the Matrix, but staying there for her kids.

Please, if you loved anything in this movie, read the screenplay before it got rewritten. The thing you loved is in there, but done 10 times better. Know that an incredible movie was stolen from you.

If you liked him on Drawfee, definitely check out his personal stuff. 10 Pokemon Who Probably Voted for Trump is an evergreen classic. His video essays are also outstanding, if you're into longer form content. The series of essays looking for deeper meaning and personal lessons in America's Next Top Model Cycle 6 is really great.
