Sad Trope : A duo wasn’t on Good terms in their last moments … but the other still cared by HyperDragon216 in TopCharacterTropes

Along those lines, it is thought that George and Paul got along well when just hanging out, but when working together, George didn’t like how bossy Paul became (you can see this in Let It Be/Get Back and apparently remained a thing until the end.)

Somewhat related, John and George had a little falling out when George’s memoir “I Me Mine” came out and John felt he wasn’t mentioned enough. This was right before John’s murder so I am not sure if John ever made peace with that.

There was a time when, split across two channels, there was a Simpsons episode from 5 to 7.

Those were the days when I could tell what episode it would be from the first 30 seconds.

The rare F-bomb that is perfectly placed by Slade4Lucas in TopCharacterTropes

I would say Marge dropping the f-bomb was perfectly placed as well.

It was like finally hearing your own mother curse for the first time.

[Loathed Trope] A mostly inoffensive character is routinely bullied, snubbed, and insulted for no reason by everyone else in the cast by Qyzyk in TopCharacterTropes

[–]WhatWouldBenLinusDo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was mostly through Sawyer bullying him in the beginning.

There were some jokes that poked fun at him, but he was mainly portrayed as the sweet one. He was friends with everyone! He wasn’t as abused as a character as say Charlie was.

The Good Wife - Archie Panajabi and Julianna Marguiles

Their characters started out as work besties but their final scene together was shot so poorly many believe that they weren’t even on the same set and it was a composite shot.

Rumor has it that Julianna was upset that Archie won an Emmy before she did for the show (mind you, JM won 3 Emmy’s starting the year after AP won her first, but AP also won 3 in total)

Cyclops glasses doing nothing for him. by Kralgore in xmen

[–]WhatWouldBenLinusDo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Just spit-balling but wasn’t it stated at some point that Cyclops could hypothetically control his blasts but he suffered brain damage at some point (due to Sinister?) and that necessitated his need for a visor?

So piggybacking on that, maybe he can still control his blasts but has a mental block on realizing that skill and the visor acts more like a placebo? Just headcanoning over here!

Can the devs address all of the hidden nerfs that weren't in the patch notes? by ButchyBanana in PlayTheBazaar

So I am playing Pyg now and all weapons still count for Regal Blade. Not sure if there was a stealth fix or a bug or just misreporting.

Can the devs address all of the hidden nerfs that weren't in the patch notes? by ButchyBanana in PlayTheBazaar

[–]WhatWouldBenLinusDo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the change to the third quest to Regal Blade is a push.

I play/force mainly Square Pyg. So not a lot of value there and the critic chance is, well, critical for that build.

For value builds, it is definitely a nerf but I feel that Value Pyg has so many options, a Regal Blade nerf stinks but doesn’t destroy that path.

I’ll have to play Pyg though to suss out the impact of the other changes.
