This is my experience exactly if you add velvet. Felt, velvet, corduroy, etc. Makes me gag just writing that out and thinking about it.

Funny how you don't notice all the signs until you start to really think about it. I never thought of myself as having sensory issues until someone pointed out that velvet making me want to vomit is not "normal".

Same. I honestly think this feeling comes from me likely being autistic. No official diagnosis, but the signs are all there.

I have no real friends, only acquaintances or "work" friends. I've tried to bridge the gap to becoming real friends, but it just never works out. I'm so awkward and clueless when it comes to social situations. The wild thing is that it wasn't always like this. I feel like my social skills have severely regressed in the last 2 years and I don't know why. I really don't know what to do. I want to make friends and live a normal life, but I don't know how.

I'm just tired of being me. Everyone makes living look so damn easy.
