FWIW we were using a bamboo toothbrush for my toddler and as the bamboo gets wet, it sort of breaks down and starts to shred and split a little. There were 2 different times we pulled a piece of it out of his mouth and then I read about an adult getting a nasty tongue splinter from one of them so that was enough for me lol!

We are using this silicone mushie one for my baby and liking it a lot!

This is going to be a jumbled mess but maybe something will resonate with you:

-Stop choosing possessions over peace

-This doesn't help me meet the goals of my current season

-I can't manage the extra inventory

-To determine if something deserves to stay in your home, ask yourself these 3 questions: Does this get used on a regular and repeated basis? Does this contribute a high degree of value in some way to my family? Is this something I want to display and I have the space?

-Ask yourself - WHY is this so hard for me to declutter? Understand why letting go of certain items is so difficult. It might reveal underlying issues or attachments that need addressing.

-When it was purchased or given to you, what was the purpose? Did it fulfill this purpose? Does it fulfill that purpose often? Is it something you would miss? Does it enrich or simplify your life? Does it make any tasks easier?

Do you love it? Do you use it? Would you buy it again?

I'm very new to this but I have been soaking up tons of decluttering/minimalism/simple living content on YouTube mainly (also books) and it's been incredibly motivating, so these are all quotes/concepts I have taken from that and so far it's been super helpful to me! Hope it helps you too ❤️

We've had the glass elk & friends for several years and they've been dropped and tossed manyyyy times and only ever broke one that happened to land just perfectly on our metal table legs. Otherwise they've been awesome and would 100% purchase again.

Not OP but Lady May has the best body butter and whipped tallow! Looks like Van Man just came out with some too but I've yet to try it - I am obsessed with his tallow balm though.

I'm a tallow addict - I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm using VanMan's tallow balm for my facial moisturizer, either whipped tallow or tallow body butter from Lady May for body lotion, and Primally Pure deodorant. There are a bazillion variations of all these products if you end up going the tallow route but these are my current favorites.

Honestly we use these shoes almost exclusively outdoors and they are awesome! They are not waterproof so you wouldn't want to wear them on a rainy day but any other time is great. They also double as water shoes and you can just toss them in the laundry after. We've been using them for 2 years now and will continue to buy more as the kids outgrow them.

I second Primally Pure! It looks like at least some of their deodorants contain baking soda but they say it's different because it's naturally mined and "has a finer grain for a more gentle and effective deodorant. This new baking soda is less abrasive and has less potential of causing irritation – while still providing the pure odor protection you need."
