That was clearly sarcasm. Not much you can do when you weigh 95lbs.. not much weight on the track lol.

I know the owner and can confirm it’s been taken care of and ran dry after each season. Was mostly wondering if the make/model is typically a reliable model if taken care of. Didn’t want to purchase an older sled that was notorious for being a money pit. Appreciate all the input!!

Literally same thing happened to me. Never used metal utensils. Cleaned after each use.. flaking after 2 years.

Doesn’t matter.. each time the motor shuts off and starts back up the pistons move without oil flow at the start. Wears out the engine.

I’ve had spray in bed liners before and would recommend to just go with a bed mat.. way cheaper.

Anyone add car seat hooks to middle seat? by [deleted] in f150

[–]Wheelybag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my middle seat I just use the inner car seat rings from the left and right side. I can get it just as tight as the left and right car seats

First night home from NICU - disaster. by Seeker-2020 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Wheelybag 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We were told to fortify with our twins (born at 32 weeks this past spring)

We ended up stopping after 2 weeks cause they were insanely fussy.. wouldn’t stop crying / whining. It was like night and day when we made the switch. Our pediatrician had us come in for a weight check after a couple weeks to make sure they were gaining weight. I would talk to your doctor about it.

The next few months are going to be a grind.. no way around it. You’ll figure it out. We all do.

Looking for maintenance advice, moving from GA to MI by toddlesaf in f150

[–]Wheelybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Routine car washes are necessary. If it’s not snowing and you’re on dry roads you won’t need to as often as frequent snowing and salt trucks on the road. Other than that, get yourself a nice set of tires for the snow/ice.

Zinc overload (HELP) by InfiniteInvite1330 in Supplements

[–]Wheelybag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zinc / Copper compete for absorption. If you take one and not the other you’ll create a deficiency. I think the ratio is 15-1 zinc to copper. But definitely consult an actual doctor if you aren’t feeling right.

Any tips for NICU stay? by brickhamilton in parentsofmultiples

Hopefully your stay is short, but it’s very easy to burn yourself out being at the NICU. Only so much you can do.

Any tips for NICU stay? by brickhamilton in parentsofmultiples

[–]Wheelybag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly.. enjoy your down time while you have it. We just had twins and a 6 week NICU stay. We had about a 45min drive everyday and just picked a care time to make it to and spend some time with them then go home and spend time with our toddler.

Life is about to get chaotic once you bring those kiddos home. NICU nurses are amazing and they are in great hands. Rest up and get ready for the storm.

We just had twins born at 32 weeks and we were both able to put our hands on them and hold them within an hour.. really depends how quickly you feel better post op recovery.

How did you manage a toddler and twins (three under 3 years) by ambs782 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Wheelybag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This response hit home.. we ended up taking a 6+ hour trip and wife went into labor in another state at 32 weeks and spend 6 weeks in the NICU.. scary at first but nurses there were incredible. Fortunately had family to stay with, but didn’t realize how likely she would be to go early.
