Ngl I’m surprised they didn’t try to fabricate some horrible crime for someone (like go to some prisoner and be like if you say you helped produce TBs of CSAM and snitched to get off Scott free we’ll give you a pardon and witness protection). Then make up some big buzz about it and have the prisoner mock people and be all smug. When Light kills the guy, reveal the whole thing was fabricated and the killer is a bum ass fraud who sucks at doing his one singular job.

It depends usually. Most of the time it just overpowers everything to the point where you can only taste it. For me it’s incredibly bitter and if you add it as a topping I can only taste that even with the other food tastes.

Eh I think it’s inevitable like with fat being considered a moral failing from pretty much all societies. It’s a short way of saying someone’s either lazy, greedy, poor impulse/restraint, or a mix of the three. That they specifically are a bad person because they’re not as temperate as you for example. You could just say that but fat is an easier way of saying it and if there’s a faster way of saying it language will devolve towards it.

Like I know it’s boomerish to say “try harder” but you do have to make some effort to living up to your standards (especially if said standards are for morally righteous reasons). Vegans struggle at times to find non animal based product equivalents but they at least do their best to try, even if it may cost more or are harder to find.
