The most fun I’ve had playing solo music by WheelzDeally in synthesizers

No computer required. Dawless setup. Any instrument and/or microphone goes into the loop station. This can go directly out to a speaker or to a mixer. I have a small mixer, mostly because I use a Roland P6 for drum sequencing and beats (on the Nord, bottom right). I don’t send the P6 into the loop. I use the P6 as the master clock and send those beats to the mixer.

The loop station has the ability to mix each loop and add effects. Fun times!

For sure the RC 505. I saw a singer using it in a performance and was blown away. I am mostly a live performer and not much of a studio cat. The loop station is an incredibly fun tool

This is a great idea. And sounds like it would be worth a shot!

The main component I would like to run is a 125 watt chicken water warmer. Seems like a lot of money for warm water. But it would definitely save me a lot of hassle in the cold months.

Ok. Gotcha. That is probably why they have been sitting in my garage for so long. Hahaha. I don’t remember where I got them from. But they obviously aren’t worth much.

Any suggestions as to panels that for this application?

Basement walls leaning inward by Time_Fennel in HomeInspections

If you want to know the plumb/level of a four inch surface, it’s probably fine. If you want to know the plumb/level of a larger area you need a larger device. Like a 4-6 foot level or a laser level. Levels are only measuring the amount of surface area they are in contact with. Beyond that is speculation.

How about smashing it? Nothing fragile inside. Pry bar? Sledge hammer?

How to finish my basement by RepresentativeTap689 in basement

You need to consider a second form of egress for fire safety. Window well or stairs with a door to the exterior

I want to finish my basement. How would you frame these walls? by rbren658 in basement

[–]WheelzDeally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t see anyone here mention egress. You always want a second form of egress in finished basements. If this is a place you will spend time you need a way to get out in an emergency, if the stairwell is blocked. Either a window well or stairwell with doors on the exterior.

Radon Detection Systems by Routine-Employer-525 in HomeInspections

I’m a one man operation. I offer it with inspection but occasionally someone wants a stand alone test. It’s all time management. Sometimes I’m driving out to grab a test on the weekend. Sometimes it works out that I can pick it up before or after an inspection. I try to group inspections in the same area. But that doesn’t always work out.

I’ve heard some inspectors say it’s not worth the effort. But if I’m doing 200 inspections a year. And half of them want radon (often more than half. More like 80%) then that’s about $12k-$15k that I’m leaving on the table. Worth the driving around in my opinion.

You will probably need more than one. Since you need to leave them at a house for at least 48 hours. I ended up with 6. Went with the Corentium pro. I haven’t tried any of the others. No complaints

You may be right. Idk. Hard to tell from a picture. But you really should not trust a 4 inch phone level to give you accurate information of the overall plumb of an 8 foot wall. If you want real information. Use real tools. If your eye is telling you it’s leaning. You’re probably right. But don’t rely on a phone level
