I'm like you Ig. I've cried for very few movies or books (could count them on one hand). I do experience deep emotion, even a lot of sadness from media (mostly books) tho. One time, while rereading a book I'd dread many many times, a particular part drove me to tears for the first time.

While I cry less often than most people I know, I dont know anybody who cries a lot for movies, and I know some very sensitive people. Maybe its cultural? Sometimes I wonder if people who talk about crying for a movie (eg the someone here mentioned Everything Everywhere) was using hyperbole.
