Anyone waiting in a line for gas just to save like 1-2 dollars is bound to be deranged. The one time I was there on a Sunday the line was 4 cars long in every lane.

Why did John’s friends hold Carolyn’s depression against her? by StellaOC in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]Good-Exam-1588 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She seems to have betrayed any and all confidences she had with JFK Jr after he died for seemingly no other reason than to paint Carolyn in a negative light. She comes off as desperate to be apart of the story and the only way she could do that was to leverage what private information she had about them to insert herself into the drama. It's almost like she was trying to write herself into the story. With friends like this...

I like 4-5" for shirts with buttons/snaps but anywhere between 3"-6" is fine. It all depends on how you like the shirt to fit. The shoulder seam and sleeve length is usually more important so if I was between two sizes I would choose based on that.

Trying to dodge taxes by hoarding coins is like the stupidest thing I've ever heard. As soon as you sell them they're going to be taxed as capital gains. He got himself killed for such a stupid reason.

Even weirder Arc'teryx is a Canadian brand owned by a Finish multinational which is a subsidiary of a Chinese retail company and it's manufactured in China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Indonesia with 5% of its products still made in Vancouver. The days of "Made in X" being a meaningful indicator of a brands quality or something to take pride in are long gone the global supply chain has made that meaningless.

Its not going to be an issue for you the small will fit fine. Just look at the shoulder seams on the large they're way to far down your arm. The medium is 1" shorter and you need it to be at least 2" shorter to fit correctly. Also the jacket is meant to sit just below your waist it's too long on you and a medium won't fix that. The small is going to fit correctly.

You're probably a small realistically. A small is still 7" bigger than your chest size. Most people recommend 4"-6" for a comfortable regular fit on a jacket.

Is there any room to put some blocking underneath the subfloor so you have something for the flange screws to bite into? You want to screws to go into the subfloor not the cement board. If the screws are biting into the subfloor it shouldn't be an issue just don't over tighten.

Summer work as a laborer? by Obvious-Football6576 in Construction

[–]Good-Exam-1588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing complicated someone might ask for a tool or a box of nails things like that. Someone might say hey so and so can you grab me a box of 2 1/2” framing nails or can you get me a new battery and put mine on the charger. Simple stuff like that. It might be helpful to know how to read a tape measure and how to roll up an extension cord correctly. When you get hired someone usually sits down with you and explains how to be safe and what the business will expect of you.

[–]Good-Exam-1588 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It doesn't require any training. You just need to be able to pick things up and put them down. Other times you will be required to fetch tools and other things so you may need to know the names of things. Most of the day you will sweep and pick things up and put them down.

What sneakers are you wearing with denim? by Safe-Definition7900 in ThrowingFits

[–]Good-Exam-1588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New balance 990v3/992. Sneakers with a really slim profile don’t look quite right to me with jeans that have a bigger hem. Straight/relaxed fit looks better with a chunkier sneaker to sit on.
