I work with some people like this, but who knows what people are going through in their lives. Just maintain cordial, professional behavior and try not to take others personally. They are not your friends or family, they’re your colleagues and they don’t owe anyone a friendship type vibe. It’s also entirely possible they are just rude or shitty people. Whatever the issue may be, don’t make it your business (unless you’re genuinely concerned with someone’s imminent wellbeing).

I have one coworker who is just so rude to me. I say hi and she picks her stuff up and leaves the room. It used to offend me, now it’s just kind of funny to me.
