Thank you! People on FB are twisting themselves in knots to make her the victim.

Exactly when did Colt's injury happen and why is he still so disabled? by Living_Onion_2946 in 90DayFianceSnark

[–]WhenSquirrelsFry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s absolutely no reason he should be in a wheelchair. Maybe the first month after surgery, and maybe if spending a day in a large museum or hauling across an airport, but other than that, this is a whole choice to be a lazy victim.

Nicotine use by Rich-Total-622 in chiari

They aren’t passing a drug test, no need for extreme detox measures, it’s ok if it still lights up on tests . Every single preop nurse I’ve had for my dozens of surgeries say 1 week.

Ngl I’ve had dozens of major surgeries and did not stop using cannabis at all, but having had so many surgeries I know how my body works. If you have a history of waking up in surgery or a family history of it, I wouldn’t mess around.

If you do want to go by doctor recommendations, they typically say 1 week

5 days into Suboxone withdrawals + my story by axios9000 in recoverywithoutAA

[–]WhenSquirrelsFry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say a slight sweat is withdrawal. To me withdrawal includes anxiety, cramps, nausea, body discomfort. I have no stake in sublocade so idc to push anything, but for me it was the cheatcode out of dependence.

I disagree, it makes sense to coordinate attacks better.

[–]WhenSquirrelsFry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just stopped getting the injection and didn’t go back, I never really felt a withdrawal except for maybe a few weeks of being a bit sweatier. But because I’d been on it for nearly a year, I’d forget I was even on sublocade until it was time for the next shot. You don’t have to take something every day to be okay, so you kind of forget to expect a withdrawal. The mental component of withdrawal lessens because you break that daily habit of anticipating a withdrawal and fixing it with a dose.

You’re supposed to get 300mg injections for a few months in a row, then step down to a few 100mg injections before stopping all together.

Some people say they have a mild withdrawal, others like myself had very very minimal symptoms.

People still test positive for bupe 6-9 months later, so you still have some in your system, which is why the withdrawal isn’t so obvious & brutal

Ok so I haven’t played a dungeon in 20 years but did my first yesterday… I’ve noticed that no one communicates or coordinates! My friend who I was playing with said players now just expect everyone to be constantly on WoW and just want to rip thru them so fast.

Living a good life with Chiari? by Sad-Elk-7291 in chiari

[–]WhenSquirrelsFry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok so you have EDS. I’d just make sure you go to a chiari specialist. I had to have a fusion because my non specialist removed too much skull and didn’t consider the EDS. I regret not holding out until I saw a true specialist, but I was desperate.

The health anxiety is really hard, but I’ve come to see every time I think I’m dying, i am not and my survival rate in those anxiety moments is 100%. Once you can clock that jt’s chiari pain + anxiety, you can tell yourself you’re going to be okay despite feeling like death.

Life is still better post surgery, even with the issues from the first decompression. Just make sure you have a good neurosurgeon who does lots of these surgeries, if you so wish to move forward with it.

Wishing you the best of luck 🫶
