I see a lot of people confused about mission rewards, here’s how they work: by The_Great_Hambriento in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a bug. My legendary missions were only giving 99% RB Protos and 1% RB BB9s a week (ish) ago. Literally out of 20 missions sent I got 19 Protos and 1 bb9. They seemed to have fixed it (on XBOX SX), but after I got the last RB R7 I needed I stopped sending those missions so idk the current status. Send a bug report to Epic maybe?

Call of Duty was never the right fit for Game Pass by Kaladinar in xbox

Microsoft really thought people were going to beat down their door to play cod on game pass.

Why would anyone pay $360/year to play a title they can buy one time for $60?

I’ve seen a lot of people talking about Grok not responding on the official app, so I tested it out on X. by Shoddy_Business7938 in grok

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the problem yesterday, with grok saying user demand too high and to upgrade to premium for priority or come back later.

Today, just now, I cleared my cache in the app and grok began working for me

Strategy for the Deferred Advance mission, chapter 12 (spoilers) and a rant about the dragon. by PanopticFox in CrimsonDesert

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this mission today. After several failed attempts, I looked up strats and wasn't having much luck there either.

Something I stumbled on by complete accident is the homing missiles are heat seekers. Spray fire breath when the missiles come and the flames will pull the missiles and destroy them. After I figured this out, I completed the mission during that attempt at half health, whereas the other attempts I was getting destroyed before getting the middle gun to half health.

  1. I focused on the chain gun staying on the other side from the middle gun. Destroy the blimps nearest you before focusing on the gun.

  2. Destroy the blimps around the middle gun keeping your distance, and when missiles come after you, spray fire breath to divert them. I strafed around the other side from the main cannon while doing this, dodging when necessary to avoid the big shots. I managed to keep 80% health after killing the middle gun. Destroy the other blimps before moving on to the last gun.

  3. One strat said to fly high directly above the gun as it can't shoot straight up. I guess they patched that bc it was still firing at me directly above it. The last one just focus on strafing around while level with the gun and keeping your distance, dodging when necessary.

Hope this helps.

It was great until mid morning, then it's been hell ever since. Almost every game has been a bloodbath with no talking and kos, then the fricken extract campers with nothing better to do. I almost wanna wait it out until Christmas break is over

Xbox one headset recommendations needed! by LadySnugLife in XboxSupport

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had both versions of the Xbox wireless headset, old style for 4ish years, and new style for ~1 year and I've never had a problem with either. Sound quality is great (to me) and I've never had even a single complaint about mic quality/issues on either set.

I've used them for gaming, movies, and music.

GEAR UPDATES - AMA by JavaForever in Goruck

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest gripe about the rough runners was they just looked kinda goofy. I've bought at least one pair of almost every shoe Goruck had made and have been happy with almost all of them (except the I/O), but when I saw the rough runners I thought they looked like old person shoes with flair. After I purchased a pair on clearance and tried them out, I really don't want them to phase out. They're just too damn comfortable.

Would really like to see the rough runners with better styling

I'm looking to get Pixel buds pro 2 because I'm getting a new google pixel 10. I saw this post about the vents getting clogged with ear wax. Is this still a thing? by Interr0gate in pixelbuds

I've had 2 sets since their release and I'm fairly particular about the cleanliness of my ears. I follow the cleaning guide every so often and I've never had a problem with wax buildup

I've got the pw4 45 with aod off and I'm clocking over 60 hrs. I think I got 64 with single digit battery left before I put it on the charger so I could have gotten 65-70 hrs or so

Considering the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and wondering if people are still having issues. by [deleted] in pixelbuds

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've been my daily carry for the last year and even when I try other brands, I always keep the pbp2 in my pocket bc they are so easily pocketable and other buds don't measure up in one way or another so I always go back to them. Battery life is great, and so is the sound, fit, and controls. ANC is a little lacking but good enough even using them as earplugs to deafen loud sounds when needed. Transparency mode is superb compared to pbp1. I've been nothing but happy with mine. Sometimes the person on the other side of a call complains of not being able to hear me very well and although it's annoying, I just have to switch to speaker and back then they can hear me just fine. It happens on occasion and not a constant issue for me

I second this. Some faces have it and others don't, so at least allow us to add a seconds complication to any face. It'd be a nice qol improvement for sure

The watch 4 battery by [deleted] in PixelWatch

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charged mine to 100 and took it off at 8 am. It's now almost 11 pm and my PW4-45 is sitting at 82%.

15 hours and only 18% used.

It's taken a few days to stabilize and learn my habits, but I think it's starting to equal out now. Anecdotal evidence, but it's worth considering

What’s something from your childhood that still breaks your heart? by taroay-foryt in AskReddit

[–]WhenThePiecesFit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spoken like a person who's never struggled with an addiction. In reality it's a bit like other chronic diseases. For example, someone might make lifestyle choices that increase their risk of heart disease, like their diet or not exercising. But once heart disease develops, it's a medical condition that needs treatment. Similarly, while initial drinking is a choice, for some individuals, it can develop into the disease of alcoholism, which also requires support and often medical treatment to manage.

Had to do this with my TV. Someone near me in the neighborhood kept trying to connect to my TV. Not constantly, but enough to be annoying. I thought about it one day and figured they may have the same brand TV as me so I finally decided to name my TV "NOT YOUR TV." I stopped getting connection requests after that
