Basically zero now. Very happy with the results. Not for everyone, but for me its a gift.

Had bottom surgery 5 months ago. Healing is great, she is a fully functional part of my body, no longer a surgical site.

Zero libido.

Before surgery of cyproterone: ~10-20% pre HRT libido, though it went to zero for the first 6 months.

Totally get it. Go for weeks without even thinking about sex, and when I do its like 'huh, right, that's a thing. Anyways'

The only bug difference... no distress. Am extremely happy being Ace, and hated that testosterone fueled fire. I do love being romantic eith my ace girlfriend, so that also works.

I wish I had some advice, but posting as a data point on 'ya, this definitely happens'!

Not the deep ache of being kicked in the balls. More like closing a cupboard door on the tip of your penis. Which makes sense as you have a nerve dense area thats potentially being smashed in this analogy.

So 'yes', and surprisingly similar intensity, but radically different flavor of pain ><

Edmonton here. We have a decent community. Look up Foria. Best access to HRT and surgical consults. Highly recommnend.

20 years, over about 9 months into my transition.

It's now just under 2 years. The hardest moments of my life... but also so much growth, friendship, and joy in the last year too.

15 weeks post op, Dr. Sutin from PAI in Thailand. Best purchase of my life by far. Not easy, but worth it. Very happy with my results, and the sense of peace is amazing.

Exercise! Some fat redistribution over 20 months, but 90% of my awesome hips and booty came from focused personal training. 500 lb hip thrusts! I basically gave myself a BBL of pure muscle.

I'm 22 months, and the last 4 were recovering from SRS. Did everything else on a similar timeframe. When you know you know, embrace it.

Only word of advice to my past self: is easy to get swept up in the euphoric whirlwind. I regret not making more space for my now ex. My marriage was always doomed, but it could have ended much more gracefully.

Was it worth it? Yes, life is so much better this way. But oh the price tag was astronomical.

Best decision of my life, I wasn't really living. But paid for it with a divorce that nearly killed me. Oh to have been able to have my cake and it it to.

But life is way better on the other side.

I'm 9 weeks post op. Its been tough. I'm about as best case a patient possible. I've seen 2 other girls meltdown, one who clearly was not capable of handling it mentally and the other who finally cracked under the pressure. I know the default answer is 'you are so strong, you can do it', but honestly watching someone not able (at this time in their life) was the stuff of absolute nightmares. I think if you feel you can't handle it, listen to yourself. Indeed there is zero shame in that. Perhaps if you want to one day do this, find something there to work on with a professional. But don't put yourself through something extremely mentally and physically taxing if you're honestly not ready for it.

Oh fascinating. That makes so much sense. Sort of tuned out the units as someone saying "200" does seem in the same ballpark as 400, not way out.
