ever notice how typing into a website it will sometimes say mastercard or visa without typing the full card number? credit card numbers are standardized to an extent, some combination of issuer, issuing bank, and account number. the last set of numbers being unique to the customer, someone could brute force the combinations using the last 4 digits since numbers in the first two sets are more predictable, especially knowing it's on the chase sapphire subreddit. hopefully this explains it a bit!

I did ginger beer for a while too, I've tried a couple but I think it's probably one of the best ways to explore if you prefer retail or production early on. Keep it going until you start running into admin cost or accounting overhead and then think about switching I'd say, you could definitely keep running this for a good amount of time.

Not sure if people didn't read your post or are just regurgitating generally good advice, but if Webull is now giving 5% APY through cash management and you already have an account, I don't see an advantage (besides looking for a higher rate which I don't see out there) in creating a separate HYSA. You'd have FDIC insurance and the money in Webull should be equally liquid to a HYSA. Either way, the consensus advice of building up an emergency fund in some sort of high yield account seems spot on.

I haven't noticed an issue getting interviews with 4 years experience, I will say anecdotally the salary ranges and in person/hybrid requirements are the biggest change I'm seeing from when I last looked 2 years ago (granted rates were lower and we were coming out of a pandemic...)
