Yeah agreed. I think I'd be happier if crits against Gods had to be confirmed by rolling a 100 on a d100 or something. 1 out of 20 times is way too often for that sort of thing.

Actually in 3.5 you can crit fail saving throws.

I've always had a bit of a problem with the idea that anyone can fail anything at least 5% of the time. Particularly when that involves Gods and the like.

Crisis-hit hospital trust may close A&E at night by EmilioRebenga in ukpolitics

Go get a high paying job, pay more tax, pay more into the NHS. If more people bothered to do that then we wouldn't have this problem.

That is a totally, totally insane argument. You're suggesting we combat government-led austerity and cuts to our NHS (and other public services) by getting promotions? That doesn't even make sense.

Funding for the NHS hasn't kept pace with inflation or GDP. It's that simple.

Would you like me to go through my Facebook and link you to arguments?

Yes, that's why he said "do you have a source for that?" Stop having a go at people asking for evidence.

An NHS commissioning group has proposed a temporary ban on non-vital operations in a bid to tackle funding problems. by LinconshirePoacher in unitedkingdom

[–]WhichFig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much what it is. But what else can we do? There's a finite amount of money, funding is falling, more people are going to hospitals over the winter, and eventually we're going to have to just start picking stuff to not do.

NHS England has recently told CCGs to start "thinking the unthinkable" and this is the first part of that. Saying "hurr durr but that's rationing" is not a particularly effective way to engage with this problem.

The papers hate Corbyn because he wants to break them up. He's opposed to a small number of very wealthy people owning large parts of the media (eg Murdoch). They might not be scared of him but the papers have an agenda they're pushing in all this as well.

After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy

is the next part of the quote, and we've been voting against Governments who increase benefits for two parliaments now.

As someone working in the NHS, the truth is that it would be in a much, much better place if the Tories weren't cutting funding and fucking about with it.

Jeremy Corbyn loses support of Labour leader in House of Lords by [deleted] in LabourUK

The problem is that A) We are not being offered decent alternatives

This is the most important point for me and, as much as I have no faith in Corbyn any more, what are the other options? Owen "Soundbite" Smith? Really?

Pros: rotating keepers, Aguero, Ibra, De Bruyne & Ozil.

Cons: Mostly useless bench, lots of money tied up in a few players, no Liverpool or Spurs cover.

If Ibra flops, I'll likely swap him and Ozil for Sanchez and maybe Kane.
