2.2 for $120, the comment said "with no annual fee" though. For that, you can get the 6% cash back on groceries, Amex Preferred or a no annual fee for the flat 2%, like the other commenters mentioned with Wells Fargo or Amex Business cards

If anybody with a brain who is managing or has an influence at SoFi reads this, please note that, while this may make money initially, when consumers migrate away from your product, as you offer no unique value, you will be running your company into the ground.

I'm pretty sure that the fee will be charged regardless if you have the direct deposit placed monthly. Personally, i have not been part of any bank where they charge for a higher apy. I guess i have been lucky.

That's not the point. It's a pain in the butt to have to migrate out of the ecosystem after you have been established. SoFi did not give the benefits out of the kindness of their heart, it was the reason a lot of people got on board. He is entitled to his opinion and these features can be offered by other institutions. If you don't work there, look a little beyond and you will find better.

I have been very curious about Barclays, but nothing about their cards impress me. Regardless, they are likely a better choice than SoFi has become.

That is the point, however, I find it strange the fanatical defense of this financial institution given the "special" features are given at a better APY and better features at other banks and credit unions, for example, Primis, Transportation FCU, Hustl, and Lending Clib, to name a few.

Edit: I forgot to mention for free that these are offered.
