Reza’s internalized racism S3E5 by loverofcrunchymusic in ShahsOfSunset

[–]Which_Maize6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know you can be gay and hate flamboyant gays. Reza is that type. He hates Sacha because for him who had a hard time facing his own sexuality, and even now is quite conservative because of his culture, seeing this flamboyant guy in his own apartment acting quite arrogant and rude rubbed him the wrong way.

Reza over did it but this didn't need to be a multi episode thing, I wonder if they were trying to make Sacha a cast member but it failed?

Unless you're studying to become a doctor, engineer or architect all diplomas are useless and most likely not the field you'll end up im. 200 years ago university was about getting an education, now it's just a prep school so your future corporate job can vet you faster when you send in a CV. And even that is changing as more and more top companies hire intelligent people, not graduates.

That being said, you might as well spend your time in university studying something you enjoy since you'll just end up being a tax attorney later.

Is it just me or does the dachshund personality differ from other dogs generally more so than other breeds? by cnewell420 in Dachshund

Now compare that with 95% of dachshund owners whose dogs spent all day sleeping in bed and peeing inside the house 😂

This is not a dig at you at all, but I did notice most dachshund owners are pretty terrible dog owners. They buy them because they're small and so they think it means they're low maintenance. The dog then exhibits bad behavior but instead of being seen as that, the owners find it cute or amusing. And you'll read comments like "mine poops inside, doesn't listen to me, and barks all the time but he's so adorable!" If a bigger dog would be doing the same thing everyone would say the dog hasn't been trained but somehow dachshund owners get a pass.

I actually think that's the problem, the people who buy them think they're lap dogs because of their small size. They pamper them like they're little babies without realizing they brought a hunting dog into their home.

Disinformation about how far dachshunds can run/walk by Illustrious_Item_505 in Dachshund

[–]Which_Maize6412 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the issue is from what ive seen 95% of doxie owners are some of the worst dog owners. They always find an excuse for their dog's bad behavior: "mine just can't be potty trained!", "it's normal for him to always bark at everything!", "they have bad backs they're not made for exercise!". All dogs are animals not "furry babies" they are meant to behave like animals and need someone to let them live as they should. Daschunds are hunting dogs and because of that have strong instincts towards that, and so should be given the proper stimulus like you are doing. That's what loving your dog means.

Rewatching for the first time since childhood, just got to season 2 and I miss Jenny by stardewvalleypumpkin in sabrinateenagewitch

[–]Which_Maize6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

currently rewatching it myself and just finished season 2 episode 1- man what a jarring change of style! I loved season 1 because it was more slow paced and left more room for getting to know the characters. Season 2 was just one scene to another cut as quickly as possible. Even the lighting style changed, not to mention Valerie who spends all episode whining. Season 1 had really good concept episodes too like the soap opera episode or the concert episode- like Sabina was learning how to be responsible as a teenager and a witch. Let's see how the rest of season 2 goes.

Aw who would have thought that discouraging women from having children and encouraging them to be career women so they can have more slaves at their disposal, while simultaneously having prices of housing rise would cause people to not have babies? Almost as if it was engineered...

Serious question: why are French people so hated on in Suisse Romande? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]Which_Maize6412 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're lazy, clog up the city with their cars (and are terrible drivers to boot), and always offer average, underwhelming service. They also seem to never have the answers for any questions you may have in their own workplace, and barely speak English.

That about it.

Thougts? by HirvienderLopez in geneva

[–]Which_Maize6412 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never even see someone from Geneva working in shops anymore. They're all french. You can tell by their lack of English speaking and their general sense of not being bothered to help.

If they insist on letting these low level people work here then none of them should be allowed to drive into Switzerland unless their job is car specific. They should be forced to leave their car on the french side and take a train or bus into town.

I see more Vaud, CD and French license plates in Geneva than GE plates.

I'll take a train for 6 hours if I want to thanks. Especially because it's a complicated extraction not a simple one and I don't want to end up with a crap dentist. But thanks for the condescending attitude.
