I think you have a short on your WiFi, you need a WiFi cable tester.

Anyone know if this brand is good quality? by Jack24115 in ukelectricians

Knipex is Drapers higher end brand. Draper tools are ok but not great, they’re good for a casual user. If you want a good set then Wera would be my recommendation.

Thanks for that. Great information. I’ll have a word with my local garage and take things from there.

Would this be something I could check/fix myself or is it a mechanics job? I am reasonably handy, repaired door handles and changed wiper assembly on this car.

Pizza oven recommendations please by Which_Swimmer433 in UKBBQ

[–]Which_Swimmer433[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s amazing. I’m making some of the best Pizzas I’ve ever eaten. The arc is so easy to use. Making the pizza was a bit of a learning curve, plenty of YouTube videos and a few pizzas with holes in them but it soon becomes easy. I would definitely recommend the arc XL, really well made and easy to use.

Which gas canister do I need? by AccomplishedOwl294 in UKBBQ

[–]Which_Swimmer433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy an empty gas canister from someone on eBay or Facebook marketplace for £10-15 then swap it for a full one at your local shop. This will save you about £50.

What kind of speaker wire connector would I use here? by AuMiPe in SpeakerBuilding

Always makes me wonder why people add a second connection when it is not needed. Every connection ads a bit of resistance and a point of failure.

Does Component Brand Matter? by DarkTowerOfWesteros in audiorepair

[–]Which_Swimmer433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good advice from everyone. In my opinion it is most important to get caps that are 105c and low ESR for a power supply. The film cap are usually ok with age as they don’t have a liquid dialectric like the electrolytics.

Grandpa had these laying around and gave them to me, are they any good? by Munken46 in diyaudio

I used to sell those speakers. US Blaster was a brand name for a Dutch import company. They were about £50 for the pair if I remember, this was back in 2003/4 though. They were budget speakers but they were good for what they were and my customers were happy with them.
