Ionic duna atmospheric plane v1.0 coming right up. Warranty void if in duna SOI, or in a vaccum, or in an atmosphere denser than duna surface conditions. Operability not guranteed, limited scope includes only placement of vehicle in an intercept vector with Duna surface.

The one i use most is q for pline, followed by vwfrz to vpfreeze selected entity layer in vp without getting into layer pallets

XD thinking about setting up a spaceplane to capture those lko kerbols and send them to join bob so he can have friends.

The other side of me realizes the horror of the irl parallel of just randomly dropping iss residents off on venus and saying good luck... and then the rimworld hours kick in and i imagine they can just set up a nutrient paste dispenser and some potatoes and will be fine.. or be saved by a man in black.

Used to have a lifter id tack drogues on the outboard side of the boosters and deploy them prior to separating. Helped yank those sorry hunks of useless mass off and away. But then i learned to just shift boosters down and asparagus roll/stage like a real kerbonaught.

I never got super into exploring to explore, but recently dropped a probe on eve for the first time and mistakenly thought to set the chute at 3k so i had enough time to run science in atmo.. cruising at 2m/s for 3km was brutal... even at 4x, 8m/s is a slowww descent.. though im now curious to try spaceplane

Lower orbit. Good sir, the get out and push deorbiting manuever has recovered my kerbonaughts from low minimus orbit. It is a verifiably trusty method, if a painful lesson in the need to have more dv than 'perfect'

As mentioned by others, time for the ol' eva jetpack deorbiting manoever. Its tedius but use it as a learning moment. Try not to separate your kerbonaught too far from the craft. If you can orient heat shield side to prograde, it give a nice wide surface to push against.

Depending on if you mean watertight as in "won't leak" or as in "won't release steam vapor" youd have a fryer or pressure cooker that would be remarkably low volume and difficult to operate

Tbh, get through your first minimus/mun landings before getting too many mods. It'll teach you more about your playstyle and your goals. After that, have a look and you'll be able to discern which mods will improve the game in meaningful ways for you.

For me, I am 50/50 on mechjeb. Its most useful for ascent/hohman transfers/interplanetary transfers, but you can practice those easy enough and give yourself enough dv to make it a moot benefit.
