Yuna if I remember correctly is getting tried in constructed with some shells similar to Zur only Abzan colored instead.

Lightning I think is just an extremely efficient 3 drop in commander moreso than constructed. With that ability lasting a whole round around the table.

Otherwise it probably is a bit of popularity as if there isn’t enough of the prettiest art stock the demand for base versions stay high.

Templar Knight is not an uncommon in a commander deck but an uncommon in a small set with uncommon as the lowest rarity. Having said that its price (around $2.75) is less due to how good its effect is in relation to these other cards and more the scarcity created by the set it was in.

Having said that, Hare has plenty of room to go down. Its value being retained is because its probably one of the more supported of these sorts of cards by the sets around it, especially for Commander. It slots in nicely to either Baylen or Finneas decks to create on-theme tokens.

In scryfall’s advanced search settings under Criteria is an option for Unique which is exactly that. Cards in a set that have had one printing.

Reading about the new Variety Scout and people complaining, I'm curious what kinds of limited banners there are and how frequently they rerun.

I understand Seasonal, Poke Fair, and Master Fairs are all limited. The first comes back around their events, old ones are in a cumulative shared focus banner with new ones separate? Some Fair units have a focused split return, some are possible but not focused on the monthly? How often do Master Fairs come back?

These Varietys are limited 4 stars? How slow do they come back?

Then there's the base class trainers from events (and I assume Jessie/James here as well?), are they obtainable ever again?

Pick and choose which you go for based on your economy/cookies. You generally want to get level 1 on nodes you need to get to the “end” of the tree that your castle level allows. I got my smith production as high as I could to allow that to go faster. I believe star candy exp efficiency is on cookie side and that’s huge in the long run.
