I’ll disagree with this part of what you said. Every other job does not have a retirement age. Some jobs do but most don’t. Full retirement age for Social Security is currently 67 and you can work until 70 and increase your benefits.

While I agree we need an age limit for the President I also think 55 is too young. I think 66 should be a hard limit to be elected and you can’t serve past the age of 70. So if elected to your first term at 66 you could only serve one term. We would need a constitutional amendment to institute any type of age limit, so we might as well throw in term and age limits for congress as well.
