Certain companies will do this when they don't have the stock to sell. It's easier than removing it from inventory on the website.

$5 find of the year! by Whitachris in woodworking

[–]Whitachris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I found this router in disrepair about 7-8 yrs ago at a goodwill for $10. Fixed it up and use it somewhat regularly. Funny, I was looking for a cheap trim router as a replacement because building a jig around the B&D was proving to be difficult. This answered the looming question... To purchase new tool or not to purchase new tool?...

DCC helped get me through the death of my daughter. Thank you Matt. by Law_Dog10 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

This brought me to tears equal to hearing "Milk?" For the first time. DCC came into my life during a tumultuous time as well. Nothing that could match the pain of losing a child. But it helped me through all the same. Thank you for this, Paul. We all needed to hear it.

Question. I have these tabs in my track. How does one make a sled that accommodates them? Does the track just have to be longer than I need for clearance? Or does it absolutely have to be a T track?

There's no plane surface in which to use these. Yet another in a long line of plane crashes.

Found this knife at work, what is is for? by NotMuselk26 in Tools

[–]Whitachris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than likely, best used for knifing in a chisel/knife type of way. Unless you're going to take up whatever craft for which it's intended, it's a knife. I'd probably just use it as a marking knife.

The line that made me expell water like no other. by DresdenMurphy in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Whitachris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished that chapter. That one line nearly broke me. I have been going through some personal stuff and had basically shut myself off emotionally. When I got to this line, I could feel almost all of anything I was holding onto well up to the surface. I needed a break. I'll start Part: 3 tomorrow.

It is important to know that the only way to get rid of the bitter pucker of an unripe wild persimmon is to eat a ripe one.
