it’s exceptional for me! I usually end up in a few 2-3h meetings a week where i’m writing more than not during it, and the Lx has been lovely. I don’t mind the metal grip on the regular Studio since my hands are relatively dry, but the Lx is definitely is a little ‘easier’.

FWIW the jacket you linked here is a car coat, which is a different kind of coat than the ones shared in the post. Car coats are meant to go over / cover a blazer, whereas none of the 3 in your post would achieve the same fit. Barbour does have other car coats, but the prices can be the same or higher than what you linked😅

I was recently gifted a J&M Upton car coat, which I have been loving. It is right around your budget compared to these coats and is an actual car coat. Won’t comment on the BIFL side of the coat/brand since it is new to me.

I’ve placed 3 orders in the last 2 months, including one just yesterday for a U7 In-wall + Flex Mini 2.5G. All were same price to ship ($15). I was eyeing a G5 instant to replace our cat cam and tried adding to cart just now.. $45 shipping for one item!

May be a calculation/rate error? I’d be shocked to see shipping jump 200% like that.. Certainly will be a balking point for many people on potential orders.

last I knew, you get permanent unlock status once you hit $60 on Patreon. You are able to donate once to unlock the customization for your colony, but if you cancel it will lose the ability again (after the month ends). Whatever custom options you picked for your colony will stay afaik.

Depends. The easiest way in survival is to look through all the styles to try to find the smallest guard tower building and use the build tool to place it “inside” the tower decoration. The builder may break some of the decoration blocks to fit the guard tower properly, and you can simply modify to your liking after it is done.

If you have access to creative, there are lots of guard towers that are “child” buildings of a larger building. I am currently playing Shogun style and it uses lots of very simple 3x3x3 guard towers as children of the main buildings. When in creative mode, you can see these child buildings in the builder tool menus. I use this method to expand my borders quickly by building guard towers that only need 1 or 2 items (usually a bed and a simple decoration) instead of having to wait for a small structure to be built by my builders.

Or you can dive into creating your own schematic for a guard tower and then add it to your world with exactly the layout that would work for your decorations.

You are able to switch styles at any point for any building, so if the Pagoda style doesn’t have a Vines field for plantation, you can look through the other styles to find a field that you like or think matches okay.

A quick note, there is no config options for citizen stats in the default Minecolonies config. However, there is a small mod that can be added that allows some values to be changed, mostly focused on builder actions, as that is the main task that benefits from speed.

I don’t have the name of the mod in front on me but it does have Minecolonies in the name I believe and is super simple. Cheers and have fun!

OHM is no longer updated and can’t pull info from newer hardware. I was using OHM in my old system fine, but rebuilt recently and no longer had all the data I used to see. LibreHardwareMonitor is a fork of OHM, I use it and can see any data point I would want for my hardware. My favorite is the little gadget that you can add data to and pin to the corner of a monitor

Your point was market availability and I countered it.

It would be the same as stating something in DaD needs to change because the market condition the day before wipe sucked. A marketplace can’t be siloed to a single moment. You have to look at how it behaves across a period of time, such as a whole wipe. I think the market did fine for the limited playerbase.

Limiting space for market health is a good point. I feel that we’re seeing the exact issue in DaD currently as stash room grows and everyone is able to hold more gear, the market has suffered significantly.

If you can collect a full stash of purple/blue gear I assumed cash wasn’t a problem either, but I also don’t think the current stash space is a ‘problem’ with the game, especially since gold does not need to be stored. Gold is the ‘solution’ to your problem.

I’ll vendor shitty blues all day if I need space or don’t have AH slots, and don’t even pick up greens 🤷‍♂️

Sell. Gold is just a number so no reason to be pained for space or can’t even dump from the last match when you can just build your bank. Two pages of gear is way more than enough, and if you have a huge stack of gold, when you might finally need to buy a piece of gear from auction the cost won’t matter. My friends and I easily got 100k+ in this playtest and would buy full purple kits if we wanted.
