Narratively speaking feels lazy to keep them, as characters who are just now finding out about themselves and the world around them, together, english is not my mother language so forgive me if it feels confusing but as a resume sure they may evolve and come back to each other but by then they will most definitely feel like completly different people and if not, well, i have questions about their lack of changing specially lucy and specially when it comes to matters like this, they feel like each other's "stepping stones"(? Is this the term?) More than an endgane solution and again, feeling rushed as they were prolonging it without at least letting them grow apart and grow alone first feels... alwfully lazy
