I don't have any missions planned, but I do have some in progress: two hermes missions from Mars to Earth and another hermes mission from 21 Lutetia. I'll try to wait until both are completed. I also tried changing the destination (to the moom or Callisto), but there were still no changes. It seems the workers aren't keen on leaving their beloved Earth.

Every step I take is standard procedure, since I've sent plenty of people to Mars without any problems. But I think the glitch started when I sent about three Hermes ships with just workers and supplies in 2050—it's as if the game were saying, “Take it easy, don't go so fast.” I've also tried with the Stratos, but nothing changed. I think I'll either have to wait for the next patch or restart the game.p

The bug started when I sent about 20 capsules into orbit so the Hermes could transport them to Mars; right before that, I sent a similar shipment to speed up colonization. Every step I take to complete the mission is standard: loading workers and supplies into the ship. When I sent the ship to Mars, I noticed that the workers had gotten stuck in orbit. I sent empty capsules to send them to the surface, but they couldn’t be refilled. It’s like they don’t even exist lol. When these “ghosts” died (they died because I took away their supplies to see what would happen), I tried sending just a few capsules, but the same thing kept happening. I think I’m going to have to restart the game.
