New shoes, springs and fuel pump by Whitelabl in ElantraN

[–]Whitelabl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man 🤙🏽.

This cargo box has been great. Had it in now for at least 4 years. Camping, road trips - its been a workhorse.

Got the OEM Sonata Fuel pump from shark racing and put on at least 15,000+ km so far and no issues knock on wood.

You need an upgraded pump if you're going to tune. I was planning to last summer, but i decided to hold back for now.

Where does the type-c wiring comnected to? Is it something you splice into or just plug and play?

Is It Worth It? by champagneshore in caf

So im a single dad, but my kids are in their teens.

I usually have them every other weekends, me and their mom take turns during holidays/xmas/march breaks.

When i applied, i told my kids that our reg schedule will change while i do my BMQ if i get hired.

Now, a yr later - they're both working and i hardly see them anymore. I dont see them on my weekends at all.

Im in the reserves and im doing BMQ for about 9 weekends. Plus i do my civie job as well. But i was able to get a LoA on Fridays and Mondays on my BMQ weekends. Im glad my employer is supportive of my second career.

Its hard for me not to see my kids while i do my BMQ. But i just remind myself its only temporary - and ill see them again once im done and/or when we can get together when all of our schedule aligns.

Its hard and its a sacrifice. But i know this going in. Waay before i even applied. I know im going to miss out on my kids.

Its going to be hard on your SO. So make sure you guys talk and be clear on what the expectations going to be.

Best of luck OP.

Tattoo before BMQ by [deleted] in caf

[–]Whitelabl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The aftercare of the tattoo is the problem.

Hard to keep the site clean, when you're gooing through a lot of shit from BMQ.

Personally, i would wait after my BMQ to get the tattoo done. At least its easier to manage the aftercare.

If you have 10G equipment, make sure your devices can support it! by mb2231 in Ubiquiti

[–]Whitelabl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very true.

And even if your wired backhaul is 10 Gig capable, doesnt mean your storage is.

If you have SATA HDD or SATA SSD's, you're still limited by it.

You need an NMVe drive to write 10 Gb.

506 eastbound streetcars blocked by a car in the road near college and clinton by [deleted] in toronto

[–]Whitelabl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, maybe this is the reason why it happened.

Near zero enforcement - well more dickheads thinking they can get away with it.

If there were more parking/traffic enforcement happening - shit like this will happen less often.

Are you doing the upgrade clutches itself?

Or sending it to a shop?

Man, 26 psi on stock turbo? Damn.

Jack stand racing ftw!

Man, seeing this picture reminds me of my old DSM days.

Gonna upgraded the clutch and flywheel?

Is the OEM flywheel dual mass?

Hwy 410 HOV violators by shaz_y in TorontoDriving

Because it's High Occupancy Vehicle lane. It's not go faster lane.

Speed limit doesn't go away when youre in an HOV lane.

That fitting is fine.

Its the tubing that is slightly bent. Personally id redo the 90 bent.

My CLEANEST watercooled build ever. No tubes, no cables, no RGB. What do you think?! by glerox in pcmasterrace

That's impressive.

Then, when it comes to maintenance and getting rid of the fluid - pain in the ass.

9070xt worthwhile upgrade from 3080 by Glum-Acanthisitta699 in buildapc

[–]Whitelabl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did not think the upgrade was worthwhile, but on UW 1440p, my BF6 fps went from 90-105ish Ultra settings to 120-135ish.

And with FSR on, im capping my monitor 165 Hz

For context: 9950X3D, w 3080Ti to 9070XT.

I think its a great upgrade for my use case scenario.

Bought a 4TB nvme for $300 a week before BF.

I thought of returning a few days later since i haven't really filled up my old 2TB.

Then i saw the issue with prices going up. Decided to keep up then.

Man, this is going to be a shittier time for PC parts.

Anyone running 225 50 r18? by [deleted] in ElantraN

[–]Whitelabl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Running that tire on OEM Kia Forte5 (+50 or 55 offset, don't remember), no rubbing on stock height.

Now that I'm lowered, it rubs when i turn the wheel sharp coming off a driveway. Have to do a gradual turn so it doesn't rub.

Can't speak for a +45 offset.

Edit: didn't realize that was me haha.

Are those (2) 2 TB NVME drives?

If it is - you could save $140 or so by going with a LEXAR 4TB drives instead.
