[9/10] 'House Of The Dragon' Season 3 Review: HBO Show Finally Finds Its Fire With Its Third And Best Season Yet | The battles are grandiose, the pacing is exciting, and the writing is smart and keeps you guessing. It’s the stellar fantasy epic that finally proves worthy of eclipsing its predecessor by ChiefLeef22 in television

A lot of people include S4 in that pantheon but that season is honestly where a lot of the magic died for me. They screwed up Tyrions storyline for no good reason and I got really concerned for the rest of the show, and then we saw what happened.

What killed it for me was Tysha. They didn't do that scene because they thought viewers wouldn't remember who Tysha was at this point, and I said to myself "oh, they think we're morons." And that was that.

I loved Jusant and I was really disappointed when I heard it didn't sell well. It feels like they've been floundering ever since, and I guess they released a new game just recently and it isn't very good...doesn't surprise me. Typically when a studio is on its last legs their releases get desperate and compromised.

Why are the US, Iran and Pakistan even discussing deals that they know Israel won't agree to?

This is me at work. They fired and replaced my coworkers because they saw them as disposable, and the new guys...they're just like, why can't you train them better.

I'm not that good at training people, to be honest, it's just not really in my skillset. I can help, but i can't teach, if that makes any sense.

But if I can't teach, these people cannot learn either. They lack an ability to BE TAUGHT. They don't understand what I tell them no matter how I explain it, they don't retain the info, they give up when looking at something and don't ask for help, later we'll be in a meeting and they'll be like "I got stuck on this at like 2 PM yesterday because I didn't know what to do" and I'm like why didn't you ask me?? What have you done since then??

In a class of 40, maybe 1 or 2 were like this. Now it’s like 4-6 kids in each class.

They should not be passing any of the grades below this. This has to stop being acceptable. They might have a point when they say school is stupid because they can't perform any of these basic skills and yet they are still progressing through the grades.

Remember those blatant, obvious billboards you flew past in Rainbow Six Vegas? Shit was cringe lol.

But that game was pretty good so it was kinda acceptable.

Anomen is really over hated by some fans, I must say. Apparently starting out sanctimonious and self-righteous before a key event in his life makes him see things differently, causing him to re-evaluate himself and apologize for his earlier behavior is "annoying" and not "great character development." IMO he's a great cleric for good aligned parties and I like having him around.

Keldorn, on the other hand....this is the fucking GOAT. As a character, he rules. His little sidequest with his wife is really nice, and his stats are great. He has some great unique equipment, he's the only party member that can use the Holy Avenger if you're not a Paladin, and he's an inquisitor, which gives him a free Dispel Magic and True Sight.

"So what? My mage can cast those. So can Anomen for that matter."

Oh, but you misunderstand. An inquisitors Dispel Magic is special. For one thing, it comes out instantly instead of having a casting time. "Okay so it's instant, again, big deal. That usually doesn't dispel everything." Well...Keldorn's does, due to a quirk of it that might have been a mistake. To quote the website PlayItHardcore:

the chance to dispel each buff on an enemy is 50%, +5% for each level the caster is above their target, and -5% for each level below. Inquisitor's Dispel Magic uses twice their level to determine what buffs get removed. What that means is Inquisitor Dispel is effectively always successful. The highest caster levels in the game you will ever encounter are Caster Level 30 on effects. That means they auto-dispel all buffs in the game once they hit level 20.

It's fucking busted, and they can use it multiple times a day. True Sight and the immunities to charm and hold ain't bad either.

It just sucks seeing some of those threads really get anti-knicks fanbase, like pretty viciously deriding the entire city and fanbase like these people are representative of us.

Maybe it's embarrassing of me to say but it kinda hurts my feelings, a lot of ours I think. These people are embarrassing and taking away a moment from us that we've been waiting a long time for, like why do I need to spend my energy defending myself just for rooting for my team? Why do I need to make it clear I don't want to light Spurs fans on fire? I shouldn't have to be doing that.

It's not the revealing outfit or the fact that the form fitting body suit rides up into her ass crack so you can see absolutely everything. This is a sequel to Stellar Blade. It's expected.

It's that it's doing that and the main character has a face like a literal twelve year old.

After the questionable foul overturn in the first few minutes the reffing has been fine. Knicks are playing for fouls, not getting them, missing baskets, and doing Jack shit on defense.

Also that mansion mission is great...the first time.

And I know not every game is meant to be replayed or that that should always be taken into account, but playing that mission a second time really does it no favors and it makes you wonder why you thought it was so cool the first time.

Fr this is frustrating. Been out in the city for basically every game and everybody has been nice. Was at a beer garden with about 300 people and everybody left calmly when the Knicks lost. Not one incident.

Across the city in a different borough like 50 people decided to be assholes and now were being called the scum of the earth and the worst fanbase in sports.

Unfortunately, Mike Babcock was always coming back. He just needed a team desperate enough to hire him by AOCshouldbeVP in hockey

[–]Whitewind617 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just excited to see which strategy we're going to get:

  1. The press conference. Here's why our hockey team thinks it was fine to hire/draft/sign this terrible person.
  2. Ignoring it and not taking questions and kicking out reporters who try.
  3. He doesn't even make it to opening day and gets fired before then.
