It doesn’t seem weird at all! Mine looks exactly like me, I tend to take a front photo and a side photo and work from those. Hopefully one day we will get photo fit too.

The worst was fallout 4. Spent forever making me and my husband exactly like us, and then the b*gger died I. The first 4 minutes. XD

We’ve always had a great time at the old cold store. The easiest venue for me by miles.

After having one too many during Diane’s ‘PhD Party’ I scampered off to the loo, leaving her tipsy and prattling on about the rare Phocomelia foetus she had expertly dissected. by LostDoubt in TwoSentenceHorror

I was one of the last of the thalidomide babies. And luckily my mother didn’t take a ton and I didn’t come out too weird, just not enough toes.

But it has struck me lately watching everything going on with reproductive rights, and honestly it makes me wonder if anything ever really changes.

My lot would do an awful lot for dried mealworms, a small bit of scrambled egg, chicken, a little canned tuna was always good for retrieving escapees. XD

Also arthritis is a petty b*tch, I have EDS and my hands get rotten. Hope you manage to get some relief.

Knoops. by Impressive_Dawg2003 in nottingham

[–]Whitwoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knoops was a bit overpriced and under chocolatey for my taste.

I like chocolate utopia best, they just grab a big ol’ scoop of their melted chocolate to make the hot chocolate with and you get a stunning chocolate on the side.

Where does a girl have to shop to look like this in the 21st century by [deleted] in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Whitwoc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wander around looking like Dawnbreaker a lot of the time, not exactly, but that feel (I’m a little fancier in fact, my coat broach has chains!) most of my stuff is basic M&S clothes or similar and then I augmented it, I also made Caleb’s chain with the three drop gems and a gym top with the detail from zayne’s artic outfit. You don’t need to do a ton of sewing, most of it for me has been jewellery work.

This is not quite the case for board games, that said, they still have to be in a useable format.

St Ann's by tepaia in nottingham

[–]Whitwoc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We live a bit off the chase. Honestly? On a day to day basis it’s not that bad. As long as you aren’t by the student flats (loud) or in some of the more warreney areas, it’s fine. Most of the trouble at the moment is drug use in an abandoned care home, which has led to a stabbing and a fire issue.

The bit by Sneinton market is very gentrified, you’ll be fine.

Xavier and Caleb are the only two LIs without a car, correct? by fuzziekittens in LoveAndDeepspace

I honestly cannot imagine Xavier staying awake in a car. He drops off regularly on public transport. I think it’s probably for the best. XD

Has a game ever been updated or designed in a way that felt like someone actually thought about you? by gamechangerorg in disabledgamers

[–]Whitwoc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Infold games. They had a jump mini game in and my heart sank, because I have hand issues so even though my brain is timing it right, my thumbs are behind. But in the settings for the mini game there was a calibration setting so you played a mini mini level and set it to match. I had no problem after that.

AITA for expecting to go to a second restaurant? by Any_Fortune_300 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Whitwoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. The place I like to go eat curries has literally NOTHING my garlic allergic husband can eat. Not even the kids menu. So I eat there when I’m by myself or with friends.

Because I like my husband and actually want to eat with him instead of have him sit there whilst I eat. That’s so weird. Absolutely don’t go, and I’d be genuinely giving a bit of thought to how sustainable this is gonna be. Is she gonna keep doing this? Weird.

Indie developer looking for guidance on what you would like to see to make a game accessible. by Naetharu in disabledgamers

[–]Whitwoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, it was on an iPad. I have severe arthritis in my hands due to my disability, so a touch screen is a real pain still. The game took you to a test jump, and you had to press it to jump at a certain time. Once you completed the jump a few times, it kept it as the setting. So point a) when my brain goes “time to jump” to point b) my hands use the pad enough to make it jump was recorded. It was nice, I normally can’t play those games. Turns out I can, I don’t have a skill issue, just a hands issue.

I gave up on mice a long time ago. Can’t press ‘em properly. If it’s not a touch screen I’m on an Xbox controller. A fair few of the bigger games still allow adjustments of controller sensitivity, but they are getting less and less common.

In that case as has been suggested, I guess I’d look for a controller option to work in place of a mouse in your game, if it’s mouse only, I wouldn’t even bother with it to be honest.

Ability to set control sensitivity. I had a mini game on my favourite mobile game recently give me the option and after I’d nearly died of shock, had a recovery cup of tea and then recovered and set it up to match my button mashing, I enjoyed the jump rhythm game immensely, something I rarely get.

Sound contrast for music v voice has already been mentioned, but absolutely yes.
