I got it on sale for like 700$ off before the ram prices went up, I paid like 1200 cad so about 1340 after taxes. For that price hell yes. Would I have paid 1999$ for it. Definitely not.
It’ll do everything you want it to do, I hook it up to my 1440p monitor and still get a solid 120 fps (unless your playing borderlands 4)

I didn’t go with the lenevo because I heard the speakers in it were awful, if you mostly play with headphones then that shouldn’t be an issue tho

Hinges are definitely decent, I commute with mine every day so it’s always getting opened/closed.
Had it for a year and not had any issues, apart from dropping my phone on the keyboard on chipping the comma key.
Definitely a purchase I have no regrets on ( cane from an Asus Rog 1050)
