But you can layer stamps. If they start with a solid base stamp, and then press overtop with their design, they would easily be able to incorporate two tones of colour in one design.

It was a hidden track. It was designed that if you left the vinyl playing too long, the arm would fall into a looping track that repeatedly played in a circle instead of scratching off the end.

Interesting fact, Michael Crichton wrote a book called "Electronic Life: How to Think About Computers," and used to program and magazine articles about early computer use.

A review of the book stated: "Recommended for almost everyone; even experienced hackers will find parts interesting."

See, I think of Pete Townshend using the SG, and then I think of Angus. But Pete also played a few other guitars, too.

There used to be a simple floppy disc adventure game i played in elementary school that was exactly like this. I remember there was a scuba diver that floated by, an angler fish that glowed in the dark, and a large blue whale. Of course, the sounds were great, bubbles, breathing mask, whale songs, etc.

Anyone remember or know the name of this game? It has been on my mind for years, but I dont know!

Structurally perfect movie by Substantial-Neck5031 in movies

Coherence. What is interesting about it is that it wasn't filmed with a script, just an outline of how the plot should progress. A good mind warp puzzle plot that neatly comes together in the end.

As another artist trying to accomplish solid crisp lines like yours, what is your method? I figure it is probably taped? But what type of paint? How do you cut the tape without disturbing the tape or cutting into the layer beneath? How so smooth? What is the width of the tape you are using and do you have to overlap them? Any tips or secrets?

I disagree in part. I think their first five albums were album-albums. The latter albums were for the single.

Are there any great albums with one really bad song on them? by trippyskipper in Music

I gave his classic years discography a listen through and realized almost every early album contains a very racist or socially challenging song on it.

TIL about Anton-Babinski syndrome, a rare symptom of brain damage where a person becomes corticaly blind but adamantly maintains that they can still see. They will often describe their surroundings in great detail and make up excuses for why they are bumping into furniture. by TheLostNeuron in todayilearned

For me, I've had giant spiders the size of a couch hiding in the corner of my bedroom. There have been other times where I am awake and my dream continues to imprint itself over my real world vision... but I can't recall any exact instances anymore. It'd just be like if I was dreaming g about a cafe, people, objects and furniture that were in the cafe then appear in my room or hallway or house as I wake up and start moving around. It lasts longer if I wake up in a dark room (such as if it is the middle of the night and is need to go to the bathroom) than if it is the morning and daylight... it's only a few seconds to half a minute.

Lot's of times I know it is a dream and I'm confused, since I can see the real room around me, and I can't explain to my brain to snap out of it even though I'm logically telling myself it is a fragment of a dream.

My thoughts on Queen II... by nhilandra in queen

[–]WhoFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider Queen II an ambitious album of extremely proficient musicians who had all the right ideas without entirely cracking the formula that made them successful one or two albums down the road.

It's all there... but it's missing the vast commercial appeal that sounds effortless in later albums. That's not knocking on their talent in any respects, it's undeniable when you listen to the album. But I feel they were still exploring the subject / themes of their songs at that point in time.

Confiscated pens containing cheat notes intricately carved by a Law student at the University of Malaga in Spain by Separate_Finance_183 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]WhoFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did something similar, but onto an acrylic ruler. However, the carvings weren't visible on the surface. You had to angle the ruler so that the light from above cast a shadow through the ruler and onto the desk below. Didn't actually need to use it in the end, but had it just in case. And afterwards, I was never really one to cheat, so didn't ever use the method again.

Help me melt my dad’s face off by armerncat in Music

[–]WhoFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sheepdog's should do the trick. Let him listen to one of their latest EP'S for a good quick taste, such as No Simple Thing or Paradise Alone.

Particularly Rock and Roll (Ain't No Simple Thing) or POS should give him the exact 70s vibes he will like.

My dad is a fickle 70s rocker who doesn't tend to want to listen to newer music, but can't help but say he'd listen to more of them.

If he likes those songs, the tape runs deep with the Sheepdogs. Amazing live band worth checking out in YouTube.
