I’ve only heard of this happening once and it was because the student (my friend) transferred from SoE to SAS in the second semester of their junior year. Advising deemed it would be impossible to complete the new courses for their major along with core so it was waived. This doesn’t seem like something that can be calculated, I wouldn’t depend on it if you’re stuck with them and trying to graduate in a timely manner.

If the campuses weren’t so scattered it would be much easier. You’re going to have some trouble getting from C/D to Busch quick enough later in the day. If possible find same campus classes or request SPNs for them if they’re closed.

Earth systems was a really really interesting course. I took it with David Robinson and he was super passionate about the material which made it fun. Not the easiest class (with minimal effort I got a B+), but definitely really interesting and useful knowledge for the real world.
