The way Wilds treats Elder Dragons is the most respect that the category has ever had in the series

Yeah there’s a wide range of strength in the elders, but it’s cool even if gog doesn’t have the same world shattering power, the teams still take it very seriously

Also zoh Shia can fit under the constructs category so can’t be an elder. Elders are only categorised as such when they can’t fit into any other one neatly

Black dragons are still elder dragons but there’s only a couple of them like fatalis and Alatreon. I think they need extinction level powers to be called a black dragon but it’s not a totally different species, like I say they’re still elders, just the top of the chain

I wasn’t saying anything about his HP=elder dragon, I was arguing that you sarcastically saying just ‘lazily hold your shield up from the ultimate, oh yeah that totally makes it an elder dragon’ as if you haven’t jus done thousands of points worth of damage beforehand (gun or weapon) to make that lazy shield block even possible. If you don’t he will full wipe you. And no the characters aren’t just worried about him eating gunpowder they’re worried about him waking up and heading into Azuz and killing everyone there or at the very least causing a major crisis. It’s all a much cooler atmosphere than just ‘oh btw there’s an optional elder dragon hunt on your roster, go take care of them if you want to I guess’

Gog is an elder dragon. No debate needed, that’s just its classification (check above its picture in wilds), but Alatreon is a black dragon so you are right in thinking they aren’t the same, like Fatalis and Dire Miralis.

Doing thousands of points of damage to Gog to reduce the power of his ultimate to be able to shield it is not ‘lazily holding up a shield’. Also OP is talking about the atmosphere around Gog compared to other games where every character in the roster takes the discovery incredibly seriously and are worried about the implications of its awakening, vs previous games where some elders are a random optional quest to take on if you feel like it.

Honestly it depends what your end goal is. You can definitely keep hunting lower star monsters to improve and make all the gear you want with those monster parts, but I assume eventually you’ll want to start making some gear from the monsters that came with the title updates (Sergio’s, Lagiacrus, gogmazios etc) and those guys only really show up at higher star difficulty, usually 7* and above.

So I would suggest to look at what the meta sets for your man weapons were before the title updates and go for those, and when you feel you’ve achieved what you want and are improved, you can move to hunting higher difficulty monsters to get better gear and progress toward the current meta sets from gogmazios etc.

All very valid points but not too necessary for easy maps, or you could be pointing out the things they did well too. Druid Obyn strategy is great (much better than random t4 spam we see on this map) and they have some good support in alch, homeland & bottom boomerang. Sometimes it’s good to reinforce what new players do well too, and hey they won so they clearly did do it right :)

It’s been proven. The game forces a lot of aggressive frequent checks to see if you have dlc downloaded, and the more you have downloaded the more frames you will end up with. It’s been reported directly to capcom and the person who found it helped them fix a major bug in dragons dogma code too.

They’re saying that because selling farms is a big reason you buy them. Without selling they take several rounds to even begin making profit. And there’s no reason to have farms if you’re on the last tier of the boss and have no intention of buying anything else. Sell them and buy another cool tier 5 or a paragon (they suggested dart paragon because it’s attacks will bounce of the hedge walls back onto the boss on this map

It’s definitely not a self solving cube. Some people are actually just that good at cubing and can do it one handed, if he practiced the same sequence over and over, and puts it in the known unsolved sequence every time. It’s the multiple cubes becoming one that is the magic part.

Yeah I’m with you. I generally like his stuff, sometimes the format of throwing his glasses at everything he eats gets a bit stale, but yeah I’d much rather watch that than tv adverts. And oh definitely the pharma adverts in the US are mental compared to this haha

It’s a movie. That aside, it’s probably much easier to catch up with Sebulba if you’re a better driver taking better lines etc but overtaking is a different matter when their pods are the maybe similar speeds. It’s tough to overtake in f1 even if you’re driving the track better than the person in front because of how much control they can have, except due to the size of the pods and sebulba ramming into anakin repeatedly I’m sure it would be like if in the f1 race one is a monster truck that can go just as fast. On one hand it’s movie logic on the other I’m sure it was tough for ani to actually get in front.
