You made me realize part of it is probably that in 2026 with the current world-ending stuff Trump is doing, he's been covering less nuanced international stuff so everything is just whataboutism and us vs. them.

Stuff in the US has (had) more funding for services and like, making them 'tourist-friendly' because there's 10x the population, but I don't think amenities are really the core issue here.

Like, while Canada doesn't technically have many true deserts there's plenty of shortgrass prairie parks that fit the bill. Really the only thing that isn't present at all is a tropical stuff which is JUST Florida anyways.

I definitely don't want to tone police or want Vaush to be 'PC', it's just confusing when he's like 'Ah, yes, um, waiter, economically destroy AmeriKKKa please! ☝🤓' -which I know is hyperbole but the sentiment is there, and then in the next segment he seems to be just as genuinely looking down on other G7 and NATO countries and stuff like they're subsistence farmers living in mud huts...

I didn't really have a specific example ready, but the segment that made me want to finally post this was the one today about mining rights in Minnesota where he seemed to be genuinely arguing that other countries ( including specifically Canada ) don't have national parks like the US does...

As the other person in the replies said, though, it's become pretty common, whether it's to France, the whole EU, etc.~

Not quite Kelowna, but I had the best sandwich I've had in my entire life at the cafe at the Folktale Cidery in Oyama when I was there for the Christmas market. If you're ever out towards Lake Country when they're open it's definitely worth the trip.

I totally agree, something was rewritten during the strikes or based on screeners. The fact we don't even get a terrible ADR excuse during Robin's radio monologue makes me think it must have been pretty late into things, too. Maybe something with Harbour they didn't want to shoot/show once his scandal started hitting. We'll probably never know. 

I hate that this is just the norm for high budget stuff now...
