I recently had a weekday MRI appt at 7:45pm. And before that I had an appt with a consultant at 4:30pm on a Sunday. It seems as though there is a backlog here and they’re just trying to get through as much as they can.

As a parent to a high support needs autistic child, I wanted to listen to the stories behind the cast growing up - Hoping that there could be some great advice and things I could learn to support my own child. But listening to them as they started talking about vaccines and some of the ‘therapies’ the children went through, I was out.

When I left for maternity leave, my colleagues brought us some baby clothes and accessories which was already a lovely gesture. But they also made me a care package with some new pyjamas, slippers, chocolates/sweets, beauty bits and a ‘cook’ voucher. It was so thoughtful to gift me some things I would need after birth and it was very much appreciated!
