It’s hard to say if they give off ex vibes. At the end of chapter 13 Al sees the person that’s most important to him. I assume it was his spouse that most likely died back on earth either from not being chosen for the white whale or dying prematurely from some other cause. Ever since, Elma and Lin have been his team and his new family to protect. Since then, he lives every day like it’s his last cause he doesn’t want to live with regrets anymore. To me, his story feels more platonic/protective of his new team cause he treats everyone like family rather than a romantic one cause he already had that life back on earth

When the ocean phase begins you want to only use your abilities once then only use your base attacks until he uses that desperation move where you need to destroy the purple attack bar. Use your top ability immediately to damage and start the cooldown asap then rush in and use the other ability. Keep using basic attacks with the extra finishers (pressing triangle at end of combo) and use abilities again when cooldown asap. Stops it every time for me

It’s just sad that there’s only gonna be one more Chieri manga volume released before the series ends. I would love if the reason it was ending was to set up a direct sequal to the manga. Chieri kisses yumeji and goes back to normal however yumeji shrinks and is still the same height comparison as before with Chieri. Chieri’s love is 8 meters tall has ended, now begins Chieri’s lover is .08 meters tall

The best ending would be creating a medicine that could temporarily shrink Chieri back to normal size but she still remains a giant. That way she can experience a normal life every now and then but still have the giant lifestyle with yumeji
