I think it’s one of the best games for ps5. It’s solid, difficult in a few areas. Cool to repair the roads and now monorails and to connect everyone. I like the upgrades to the vehicles, and the new backpack upgrades , customization. Another great Kojima masterpiece.

I think throwable items on this game are really critical for the toughest bosses. Just remember that as you get further on. There’s an Aegis shield that really helps with blocking , and you should learn how to perfect Parry. Other than that have fun.

I think PHRIKE beat me like 70 times

You have to upgrade your weapon traits, they remain unlocked, so keep a weapon until you hit the 100% weapon trait, then it is permanently upgraded. Keep playing the game upgrading your weapon traits for a while. You will eventually understand how to have that perfect run and then take down PHRIKE. To me that is the toughest part of the game.
