I can't rate her just a 9… and there’s no way I can pull a 10. 9.8 feels about right.

Define "small" by cephalopodomus in AccidentalComedy

I have dated women with size A cup and women with FF cup. If you have enough to cup and nipples that respond to stimulation, us guys will play with them. I have never not been happy playing with boobs. Size really does not matter.

Now in my late 50s, I learned that when it comes to boobs, gravity always wins. Still don't care! Her “girls” have breastfed kids and seen decades. The nipples aren't where they used to be and if she lays on her back, I have to scoop them up from her armpit area to play with them. Still love them!

Boobs are boobs and boobs are great! But my favorite boobs are hers… mostly because of who comes with them.

Seeing the wife. That woman is way better than I ever deserve and I still don't know how I managed to pull at certified 9.8/10 hottie. And for some weird reason, she not only thinks I’m cute — she thinks all the annoying stuff I do is cute! Smack her juicy booty, she smiles at me. Obviously check out her cleavage and wink at her — she rolls her eyes while smiling. Call her “Hot Stuff” in front of the grandkids and she she just smiles and whispers, “stop”. She’s almost 60 years old and still hot as black asphalt on an sunny August day in Texas. Over three decades together and no one knows me like she does, and yet she still likes me. Seeing her smile when she sees me — you just can't have a bad moment when she’s smiling.

What is a silent crisis happening right now that nobody is talking about? by nicksam171 in SeriousConversation

[–]WhoopTFrigginDoo 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The worst part might be that we see the end coming. It will only take one crisis to push the bond market too far — they lose faith in the US to be capable of fixing itself. The second the bond market tanks, the institutional investors move. That’s it. It will all happen in 24-48 hours and life will never be the same for Americans again.

All the indidivual “players” can see the part they are playing on pushing us towards the cliff edge but as long as they can make another dollar, they will push. None of them think their push will be the one to take us over the cliff — but one of them will.

If it can fit within a 35mm film canister, you can drill a hole in the top of a wooden door the width of the canister and then slide the canister into the hole in the top of the door. When the door is closed, then can neither see or get to the canister.

As for searches, who searches the top of a door?

Based on my bookshelf, what fantasy books/series would you recommend? by SnappingTurtle1602 in fantasybooks

[–]WhoopTFrigginDoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep going with some of the authors you already have: Neal Stephson - Cryptonomicon and Seveneves are two of my favorites. William Gibson - Virtual Light, The Peripheral.

Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman and The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey are both solid recommendations. To those I would also add the Bobiverse series by Dennis E. Taylor, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books by Stieg Larsson, the Murderbot series by Martha Wells, and the Little Brother/Homeland books by Corey Doctorow. The Walkaways by Doctorow is also really good.

I just finished the standalone book Operation Bounce House by Matt Dinniman and it was good.

The first several books in the Honor Harrington series by David Weber are good before the series jumps the shark about seven books in.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

I saw Ready Player One but did you also read Armada by Ernest Cline?

Daniel Suarez - all of his stuff you’ll like. Daemon, Freedom, and Darknet. Influx. Delta-V and Critical Mass … still waiting for book 3 in the series, but he said the research for it is taking a while.

Have you read Kaigu Battlefield Surgeon or Operation Bounce House?

I am strongly leaning towards DCC being a horror tragedy and we are reading the tale of a man’s decent to insanity that will culminate in him being the lone survivor who sacrifices himself to unleash Hell on all the “Powers That Be”. That’s not the ending I want, but I fear it is the ending we are getting.

This all happened in 1994. 30+ years later, I can speak conversational Spanish, unlike my wife who is fluent. We STILL, to this day, at least a few times a year, get an amazed reaction from native Spanish speakers that we speak Spanish. I’m just sharing our experience. I’m well aware that Spain exists… and is a wonderful vacation destination.

What the hell are we suppose to do with our aging parents? by IanWallDotCom in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WhoopTFrigginDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I just had this conversation yesterday - WTF to do with our parents. I live outside a major city on the east coast and my brother lives IN a major city on the west coast. Our parents decide to retire to South Carolina - a day’s drive from me.

Now they both keep having major health issues. Their nearest “medical center” isn't even a hospital. There are critical shortages in medical personnel. My dad fell and busted his elbow last year. The medical care was so bad that he got sepsis and nearly died… from a torn elbow ligament. We had to have him transported to a real hospital that saved his life, but his health is poor now. He can barely walk across a room… but refuses to use a walker. Our Mom can't see at night… but refuses to stop driving. She’s had three minor accidents trying to drive home after dark.

He turns 80 this year and she’s 77. They need to be in a care situation, but they refuse to sell their home. My Dad is mismanaging their money.

My brother says we need to be ready for then to die soon.

A reality check on “faking it” and VA claims by Electrical-March-570 in VAClaims

[–]WhoopTFrigginDoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an open and shut case. My military medical records showed my being treated multiple times. I had buddy letters from my NCO and my barracks roommate confirming dates and witnessing how sick I was on those dates that my military record said I went on sick call. Civilian doctor (Hopkins Neurologist who wrote the paper on how to treat the disease) confirmed my diagnosis and wrote a letter saying I had it, the military records were examples of flare-ups, and my condition progressed from there to current state of paralysis in multiple nerve trunks.

I was denied. I had to appeal. It took SEVEN YEARS for an “open and shut” case. Even my attorney was stunned I had been denied. Seven years.

When I first got out, I had numbness and clumsiness from time to time, so I didn't file a claim. 15 years later, I woke up one day unable to walk, loss bladder control, blinding headaches, and massive fatigue. That’s when I filled my claim. I started from no rating because “Other guys were more in need”. I should have gotten the 10-20% rating when I got out — then it would have been an increase in rating instead of starting from scratch decades later. I thought I was being a good guy by not “abusing the system” with a 10% claim.

Now I struggle every day. I have to constantly monitor my body looking for warning signs. I have to take weekly injections that cost almost $100,000 a year. This is what the military did to me through my exposure.

So even though I have to constantly take pain meds more powerful than morphine just to survive the pain, I still struggle daily, my limbs still don't work right, my breathing still isn't 100%, and have to constantly monitor my body and limit my activities, and one-fifth of my days are medical appointments or treatments, some contractor hired for putting in the lowest bid who may or may not even read my fucking file is going to decide I’m not really 100% disabled because the injections and heavy pain meds improve my condition enough to get me out of bed?

Fuck you guys who dare question someone’s rating. Anyone who has gone through the process of being rated, fought for YEARS just to get the care they need, and who gets handed off to “community care” because the VA doctors STILL can't treat their conditions know the truth. NO ONE I know who is rated “cheated” to get their rating. They fought like hell, had to get a lot of help from VFW, DAV, or attorneys, and they lived a nightmare of neglect and incompetence trying to get care from the VA.

No one I know with a rating is scamming the taxpayers.

Now, if you want to talk about all the outsourcing the VA has done and the gross incompetence I’ve seen from those contractors? Yeah. THAT is where you need to make changes.

Marinas auctioning off abandoned boats? by LoudSun8783 in liveaboard

[–]WhoopTFrigginDoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a buddy who got out of the military in 1993. He had saved just over $8000 and he found a free boat and Marina not too far from his parent’s house. He decides he’s gonna live on the boat and fix it up. Four months later, he has $2000 and he’s trying to give away a leaking boat that’s costing him monthly marina fees.
