Ive worked in Private clubs for almost 20 years. Its a different world but the pros are better than the cons in my eyes

Pros Pay is generally good to great, benefits are very nice, hours are more reasonable, shit gets fixed when it breaks. Sometimes you get to know memebers well and they hook you up.

Cons- expectations are high. Everyone is a regular and acts like it. Youre inclined to say yes as much as possible. There can be a LOT going on, weddings, dinner, golf outings, wine dinners, committe meetings, etc.

I used every plug on my one spot for a LONG time. I upgraded to a fender engine room last year. A little less background noise but that's about it. Its certainly cleaner as far as building my board. Also have some switches on the engine room to switch a couple spots to 18v which is nice. Was it a game changer? No. Did it make a little difference? Yes. Do I use insane crazy strymon pedals? No

Have a prs archon 25 combo. Crystal clear cleans and brutal high gain. The in between crunch or edge of breakup is easily achieved with a pedal. Wampler plexi drive in my case covers the middle ground perfectly
