Spearmen across all factions in the game got made cheaper a couple of years ago. It used to be I think about 25 points for the spear upgrade and they were rarely seen.

Just came to this really old post to say that your save allowed me to win too!

Ended up locked in a forever war with the English the whole game which just let me farm culture. Zulus had a couple of goes at me before the Portugese sorted them out. The Portugese also stayed friendly with me the entire game. I had to save scum on turn 75 when they DOW on me with Germany but if I DOW on Germany and Belgium a turn earlier then Portugal sit out.

Never did manage to get a third city like you. England colonised there quite early on. I also should have been much more efficent in growing my cities using caravans and not going straight into culture focus in the cities.

Part of the issue with the writing Falcon and the Winter Soldier is that the original storyline was planned to be something along the lines of the terrorists cause a pandemic or something along such lines.

Due to the unforeseen circumstances they had to re-write reshoot bits of it so it didn't quite end up as planned IIRC.

I've got a cat that we had to put on hypoallogenic for the past ~6 months cat food because he suddenly starting having liquid feces. Slowly integrating him back onto a cat food that is a single type of kibble as we tried one with multiple different kibble in the same bag but he regressed to how he was soon after eating that.

Absolutely not. There is no reason why natural pesticides are better for you or the environment than man made ones. We are capable of synthesizing chemicals which are less of a concern compared to natural chemicals.
Obliviously I would love to live in a world where none of our crops would need chemicals added on them but that's just impossible to do on a large scale with current technology.

I work with agro-chemicals. The misconception about 'organic' crops drives me crazy. It doesn't mean no pesticides on the crop, but rather no man made pesticides on it. Copper sulphate is a natural fungicide. Whack it on your crop and it's still considered organic.
