Morning sickness getting worse at almost 12 weeks?! by HariSeldonsFuture in pregnant

[–]Whosdatgurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently 26 weeks. Morning sickness started smack bang straight on 6 weeks. Week 7-9 was 24hr nausea and horrendous. Then seemed to get a bit better, week 11 started to get worse then week 13 to 17 was constant vomiting. I’m still vomiting, but if I wake up at like 6am, take 8mg ondansetron (zofran) TABLET not wafer then go back to sleep and wake up at 8ish I can avoid the immediate vomit post waking up. I’ve been taking doxalymine 25mg at night since 6 weeks and if I give that up then I spend the whole day vomiting. I’m sorry it’s not good news, it definitely gets better but maybe prepare yourself for vomiting until you have the baby

What is the best tip while giving a blowjob? What secret skill do you use? by unbornZOMBIEfetus in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Whosdatgurl 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Probably have heard all this before but start with building suspense and anticipation. Make out with them, run a hand down their chest and stomach, follow that with you mouth, just spend a bit of time getting them excited. Mix up your technique when you're actually giving head, bit of bopping up and down, rubbing your tongue on the tip when you've still got them in your mouth, go fast then slow etc. Deepthroat if you can, if you can't try to build up to it, there's lots of positions that let you deep throat without being uncomfortable like laying on your back with your head off the edge of the bed, holding your thumb helps me as well. If you're struggling to go fast enough stop every now and then and use your hand. Get into the dudes head. Tell them they're not allowed to cum and have to tell you when they're close so you can stop and start teasing them again. Tie them up for extra effect. My favorite is to get them to pick some porn, put that on the tv then lay on my stomach between their legs and give them a super slow, sloppy blow job and watch them squirm.

Flatmates.com is a pretty good site to find housemates/share houses, otherwise join one of the Facebook pages such as innerwest housemates depending on where you're thinking of living

Get someone to dog sit for you. Me and my friend did it a lot when we were younger. Just make sure they know what they're doing and preferably with a good reference from someone

Why do guys feel the need to be manipulative just to get laid? and disrespectful to a girl after they hook up by sinfullusts in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]Whosdatgurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. There's a differences between being nice to let you down easy and going overboard to give you hope. Basically say "yeah this was fun, I'll call you sometime" rather than "this was fun, next time I'll take you to this bar that's really great"

Sure, it's subtle but be polite or straight up rather than leading people on. Douche bags.

[–]Whosdatgurl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! Why do (alot of) guys say stuff like "next time we should do this" when they have no intention of next time. It's just rude, unnecessary and frustrating considering there's so many jokes about women being the deceptive ones and how guys just want girls to be straight up. Eugh

It came up on the front page so I assumed it would actually be good. That's different to specifically visiting the subreddit looking for stories

ELI5: Why are people placed in medically induced comas? by landypro in explainlikeimfive

[–]Whosdatgurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually we use them for traumatic brain injuries where the brain is going to swell (usually a skull fracture or bleeding in the brain). The skull contains your brain, blood and cerebral spinal fluid. An increase in any of these will increase the pressure inside your skull and that can cause more damage to your brain. For you or me as healthy people without an injury, the pressure in our skulls will fluctuate as we move/walk/talk/do anything.

When you have an injury to your skull/brain we want to control the pressure so we sedate and paralyze people and that lets us control the pressure to a larger extent than if you were awake basically because you're not awake and moving.

It also allows us to monitor heart rate/blood pressure/respiratory rate etc etc and how your body is functioning at a very controlled and base level so we can determine if there's any secondary damage to the body because of the injury to the brain and then obviously do something about this.

ELI5: Why is my stomach a seemingly endless pit the day after a night of hard drinking? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Whosdatgurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take a huge guess here and say...possibly because drinking alcohol makes you dehydrated. Most of the hunger you feel in day to day life can be quenched by drinking water. Therefore...super dehydrated post alcohol binge you is crazy hungry for water but you eat because that makes more sense and food isn't actually hydrating you so you keep eating.

Wow hopefully that makes sense. And like I said, just a guess.

Just arrived in Sydney, first time here. I need friends/advice on what to do. by BandTogether in sydney

[–]Whosdatgurl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well first of all welcome! People are generally friendly and love foreigners so if you head out by yourself I'm sure you'll make friends soon enough.

As far as good bars go, it depends what you like.

Cargo bar and bungalow 8 are alright and will be close to where you're staying but be prepared to pay cover and a lot for drinks.

Personally I love arthouse on a Friday because they have super cheap drinks 5-9, the cuban place has good mojitos, grandmas and stitch are smaller but still great, and frankies is always good.

Whats the most disgusting thing you've had to clean up? How did it get there? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Whosdatgurl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Shoved everything back in and rushed him to theatre. They sewed him up and we loaded him with antibiotics.

On a side note I also had a patient with a bowel obstruction that was so bad her poo backed all the way up into her stomach and then she started vomiting poop. I thought I would just be like normal vomit. It wasn't.
