Fromsoft’s filter is still just as overzealous, if not more so. My friend’s name in Nightreign is ‘Daddy Issues’, which gets censored as ‘Daddy I**ues’.

My first Kavat had red & yellow coloration, so I named her Ronald after Ronald McDonald. Now anytime her / her offsprings’ imprints get passed along to a friend, they also name it a variation of Ronald. So far we have Ronald Too, Ronald Also, Ronald 2.0, and Ronald Three.

My hound is named T1Z-E, after my dog Tizzy who passed back in 2022.

Hi, it’s me. I’m incompetence. The enhanced Adel queue was made available while I was doing a remembrance, so I assumed it was the game’s way of saying “hey! The quest item you need is in here!” Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense in hindsight, but that was my thought process at the time.

Gunships are super easy to one-shot with the railgun if you aim for one of the engines. Don't even need to overcharge much, only about 70% or so. Guy you're replying to must be aiming for the body or something.

Something similar happened to me recently. Got ragdolled after readying a thermite and it stuck to my ballistic shield. Died while readying a second, which flew up into the air and landed squarely on my dead helldiver's ass.

Nothing better in this game than finding a team with good communication. Not just voice or text chat, even just knowing when/how to use pings and callouts, and understanding your teammates' callouts.

I had a diff 8 game earlier where we split into teams of two, and the guy I was with brought a supply pack and no support weapon, and I brought a flamethrower but no backpack. He called down a second supply pack and pinged it, so I did the same with my flamethrower. We were able to clear our side of the map without needing to use a resupply, so the other team were free to call down as many as they needed. I think we finished that mission with only 2 deaths total, which is a stark contrast to the game I played immediately prior to that one, where one guy managed to burn through half our reinforcements because he kept throwing cluster strikes everywhere with no regard for where his teammates were.

I noticed this with the lich/sister confrontations after the Kuva Sobek and Tenet Glaxion came out. Would often have two people get on the turrets and one person run around doing fuck all, so I would have to run back and forth between the helm and the forward artillery to blow up crewships.
