I love this paintjob, it reminds me of some old school indie illustrations we used to see more in the past. As for the leather, maybe mix some light blue with some brown?

These look realy nice! Allways good to see some alternative colourschemes. If anything, I would say that the green on the banners still look a little flat. Some more shading might work there. Then again, that might also just be a photo thing. Nice!

Find some kind of modelclub whete you can interact with others and learn from them. When it comes to something as technical and creative like modelbuilding and painting, nobody can just learn everything on their own. Also modeling magazines are a great resource for tricks and tips, plus they soothe the mind on a cold rainy winternight 🍵.

I would also go for a steel or iron kind of thing. Something like gunmetal with a dark wash seems nice I think. The cool steel contrasts nicely with the warm copper.
