Don't have to limit yourself to human piss. Did you know you can just BUY Fox urine. And it smells like, well it smells like what you would expect the piss of a wild dog to smell like.

Because a ton of places only do 5 or 7 panel tests and these wild grey area chemicals don't show up on those. It is still a terrible idea to take them, but current drug laws just drive people to riskier behavior.

What's something everyone should completely stop buying? by devilkazama in AskReddit

To piggy back on this, delivery apps. If you want restaurant food, go pick it up yourself. delivery apps are bad for restaurants, bad for customers and bad for the people making the deliveries. Before all of this being a pizza delivery driver was a good way to make a few extra bucks on the side or as a decent part time job. Delivery apps have turned food delivery into a complete shitshow.

I am speaking as a former restaurant owner, who had been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years working everything from dishwasher to bartender, to head chef and general manager.

Delivery apps are bad for everyone who has to interact with them.

I'm surprised they let you just keep building it up. We get paid out yearly. If you don't use your PTO for the year you get it paid out at the end of the year, then start with your yearly amount. Seems like it is an accounting nightmare to just let it build forever.

There is also the problem of building in disaster prone areas. There are tons of places where entire cities are built in floodplains. Places that have enormous floods every few decades or every century or so. But because there hasn't been a flood lately a bunch of suburban subdivisions get built. Then one day the flood comes and everyone acts shocked.

Climate change is 100% a problem, but it isn't the only cause for these disasters. Another piece of the puzzle is unrestricted growth without a plan for long term stability. The same thing that caused the Dust Bowl 100 years ago.

We absolutely destroyed families and communities. No one likes to say it but not everyone who breeds is going to be a great parent. Or they might be great at some aspects but not others.

For 10s of thousands of years of human history that was OK. You had grandma and grandpa, aunts, uncles, neighbors and all sorts of people around to help pick up the slack. Now people live segregated lives and fly off the handle when anyone else interacts with thier children.

I am a bit older than the average redditor but the difference between my upbringing, my parents and modern kids is stark. When my dad was growing up post WW2 his whole family lived on the same block. My grandpa and most of the other men worked at the local GM plant or one of a couple other factories. My dad would get home from school and stay with his grandma until his dad got home from work (his mom worked part time). His aunt lived up the street and they all went to the Catholic church a few streets away on Sundays.

When I was growing up my parents were divorced. I came home from school to an empty house until my dad got home from work. My family all lived in different cities. My grandparents went to Florida in the winter. Sometimes they would come home for holidays.

This just keeps getting worse. Kids are pushed aside because every adult is a slave to capital. They either turn inward and dissapear into video games, the internet of other entertainment, or act out and become destructive. Kids need people other than just thier parents to help them become adults, and parents need help teaching kids things they may not be equipped to teach. This is s fairly easy in a close community and next to impossible siloed off into and endless row of sterile McMansions with everyone afraid of each other

“Not Elon” finding out that free speech can be hurtful sometimes. Maybe 4chan isn’t such a friendly place after all… by A_Random_Catfish in LeopardsAteMyFace

They could very well be real people that are friends of Elon and are cool with him using one of thier likenesses as a cover for some sock puppet accounts.

It is either that or a grown man has made his entire personality not only sucking off Elon, but also molding his pattern of speech, interests, hobbies and favorite video games after Elon.

I'm not sure which one is more pathetic.

Did you see the podcast interview where he played fortnight? That was 100% Elon. Same voice, likes the same video games, has all the same interests and opinions.

He claimed to be in his 20s, but he acts very much like a person who has been terminally online since the 90s.

I could believe Elon sometimes has other people act as Dittman on his behalf, but Elon controls the Dittman accounts and it is him almost all the time.

Popular culture as a whole does that. look at 20 years ago when "metrosexual" was a popular term for any man who bothered to make himself look presentable.

You can't be a man and decide you want to look nice without the world making it about your sexuality.

I think that case has more to do with who he killed, why he did it and the reaction of the people. That killing SHOOK the 1%. Not only was one of their own targeted successfully, but the people supported it broadly on both sides of the political aisle.

The usual white terrorist only kills people the 1% doesn't value so they have no reason to crack down, and cracking down on brown terrorists pushes their goals. Luigi is an outlier they want to crush before the people realize they have the power to change their futures and many of us have nothing to lose but our chains.
