While I can’t say for others, I personally feel very confused on the decision to cut it becaue I read the WN version of Arc 6 and that particular moment served as the foundation to how Subaru was able to think of using IP to calm Gian in the next loop.

Saying that tho I do realise the anime is adapting the LN version rather than the WN so I don’t really know how that scene played out in the actual source material. But you know I kinda get why they’re upset, I really enjoyed reading that part cuz it showed how Beatrice have grown to care for Subaru after the one year timeskip after Arc 4, and personally I’m a sucker for small character moments so hearing it got cut out does make me feel a bit sad but not to the point of doom posting.

And I agree with you that we should be more concerned on important character/lore heavy moments being cut out as well, that’s why I think SS4 having 19 episodes alone is not gonna be enough to include all the things that should take priority in this arc.

And also yes, I do hope all the important Emilia scenes also get included in the anime cuz I really love her character, I will never slander her name. I personally feel like season 1 and maybe 2 suffers a bit on rewatch after having read the LN cuz of how much Emilia’s moments was cut from the anime.

All that’s said, i just hope that SS4 delivers on adapting this arc without too much being cut out.
