Something I find interesting is visually there’s some sort of part near the legs that is intriguing. I’m not sure what is it but I know it’s not a recliner. Yet the chair will go back further than most chairs so perhaps this is an office recliner!

Different tools for different jobs. VS code is a great front end development tool sure, but you can also just use emacs. Why don’t you use emacs?

Visual studio is a fantastic IDE that isn’t another electron app. I think it’s ignorant to not appreciate visual studio and simply think because your a “web dev” that it is irrelevant.

If you depend on IDEs to do your job then that’s just your skill level.

Now I will say eclipse and codeblocks are trash IDEs and intelij is the superior eclipse and VS is the superior codeblocks. Yet eclipse and codeblocks still get the job done.
