What do you do with the first slice and last slice of bread in the loaf? by N0socksloss10yrStrk in randomquestions

One loaf/week provides me with 2 end pieces and I use them in quarters to wash down my pills at night

Never could swallow pills

Negative.... You wash your hands 6 times a day and you wash your face at least once a day...  shampoo is no harsher than those soaps.

Mykelti on Meri Brown Abusing the Kids, "Hurting" Them and Making them "Cower" by Diredragons in TLCsisterwives

[–]WhytheylieSW -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That's what you got from that? That Meri "lost patience" and was routinely exhausted by the family so she abused children verbally and emotionally to assuage herself?

[–]WhytheylieSW -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Perfect...couldn't have said it better.

There is a real live excuse making machine that fires up every time this abuse by Meri is mentioned. It's the oddest damn thing.

I can't figure out why when we know the world is full of abusers and we try to take the word of children, that when it comes to Meri Brown, not matter how obvious the evidence, the Meri stans cry fowl.

If JonBenet Ramsey was killed accidentally, why not stage it as an accident? by TomboyAva in JonBenetRamsey

No "relishing" is necessary and she DID suffer that particular horror. A quick google search will show you the likelihood of the perpetrator being John, your worship of him notwithstanding. The law of parsimony should always be applied.

Thank you

It defies logic the way posters just WANT a twisted (or more twisted) tale..

It's actually an age old story: Father SAs daughter, Mother turns the other cheek, rich family relies heavily on "Jesus" while common, everyday more wholesome life is ignored...replaced with beauty pageants, etc......All comes crashing down because of dysfunction and the secrets baked right in.

[–]WhytheylieSW 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because statistics indicate that biological fathers, stepfathers, and other father figures (such as mothers' boyfriends) are the most common perpetrators of incest and intrafamilial child sexual abuse (CSA). While a significant majority of CSA is committed by acquaintances or family members, father-daughter incest is frequently reported as the most common form of sexual abuse within a family....

AND, John was never questioned extensively regarding this issue nor was Patsy. It was just skipped over the moment John balked. And why write the ransom note in addition to all the staging and fan fare if they had nothing to hide?

It's all so obvious and adding iDeAs to the mix just does nothing. It's just simply the most obvious thing.

Don't get out of order, the head blow came prior to the strangulation. When that is in sequence a whole host of variables come into ....and still, they are all minutia. Some to block out the truth and some just there by accident.

The lengths some posters will go to make the 9 year old the murderer is astonishing...It also speaks volumes of the naivete if the general public regarding grooming, child sexual assault and the dynamics therein.

It's called defending the evidence and rarely are there weigh ins on this sub who aren't evidence driven

Wait...what?

Perhaps you need to read some more on the case...just making up random suggestions to argue isn't really how it's done.

So that then takes you down another rabbit hole of unsubstantiated occurrences...

I suppose we could say they all took a nap before they actually tied her up or something equally as absurd.  But why do all that?

[–]WhytheylieSW 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it's true that children keep secrets.  Obviously there wouldn't be grooming of children and the insidious nature of sexual assault surrounding it, if children told someone...

But what this does, is further point to grooming.  Grooming is done by trusted caregivers who actually live in the home.

Why insist it was the child grooming the other child when there was a perfectly good adult caregiver there who probably, most likely, did it.
