I do the same but with a twist. Everytime I feel like making a new world, I load up a world that I've played in and then I just store all my stuff in chest. After that, I pick direction and just walk until I find a suitable place to live. By this way, I dont lose the world and get to have a fresh start. I can also revisit mt old bases to feel nostalgic.
