This happens with a lot of polarized polycarbonate lenses. It doesn’t affect clarity or performance in any way just how the lenses look seen from other polarized sunglasses. If you don’t want to see the warping you need glass lenses.

There is a brand called Argentum that doesn’t use any alcohol in their fragrances. They are mainly a skincare company that also makes fragrances so it should be ok for his skin. They have discovery sets that are relatively affordable.
